I killed 7 ships once. I thought it was one guy approching me and he came with backup My hsip was fast af so i weaved through them and shot them with my gun.
He probably wouldn't if he wasn't stuffing gigantic engines inside tiny compartments. I can't help but feel it's his fault for clip-glitching stuff all over his ship, which likely made the holes.
This is an older update. But yeah, I have tested and so did some other people. Using conductive materials like copper will take less damage from lightning when it strikes it! Also make sure engines and fuel tank are also conductive and you could place your engines inside of your ship, to be more safe! I am not sure about wood thou, make sure top levels are metal.
Never stop moving in a ship to ship battle you are a sitting duck and a easy target. Standing still only helps if you have them by surprise then you can barrage them with cannon fire be for they even have time to react. Still a good video and thanks for sharing and I like your ship with only one way in and out to help against boarding parties!
+James Collins Thanks for the comment! In truth, I felt overpowered and I thought that there is no way he could easily get me trough that armor, and it's hard to use main guns while moving so I have decided I will show him true fire power... To bad it didn't work xD In alpha 6.0 panels will be able to protect your ship way better than they did when I filmed this.
If there was a way you could have closed the iterance be hind you maybe like a door I could see your design being very hard to fight against like a small flying tank. =) Hopefully I will see you in the next alpha? =)
Daniel Kauffman I applied for the alpha and I got an email saying I would be in it. When I said I hope I get a steam key for it I said that because I applied for the alpha, I should be getting a steam key very soon.
