Almost bought a TTR230 but decided on the KLX230. Felt like a little better quality, disc brakes front and rear, fuel injected. But really like this class of bikes
Super interesting take on the PR7. You say it's a little heavy, which I found interesting, since it's super light compared to most adventure bikes. So, what is your point of reference for calling it heavy? Enduro bikes or...?
i dont know much but yes bosch has a big factory in Suzhou, China. CFMOTO also got their 800MT's Bosch abs and tc system finetune at that factory I believe, I saw a video about it from cfmoto, to demenstrate that they use good stuff on 800mt.
Thanks for the video Trevor. I hope Yamaha didn't apply that mid-top power focus on the new WR250F. Enduro bikes need low-mid delivery for crawling up technical trails. Can you gain all the torque back through the power tuner?
Airbox + ECU @ Twisted. One without the other won’t get you there. Cost about $1400 installed and I believe it includes a 450 airbox from the ‘22 and a mapped Vortex ECU. If you are buying an aftermarket pipe obviously do that before you have them map it.
People are finally figuring out....that if u know how to ride offroad these small dual sports are WAY more fun cuz of the Go Anywhere factor and they are more comfortable to ride all day than a high strung, trail specific set up enduro. No 2 Stroke Drama, no flame outs, No Maintenance and No Financing. Iv had a lot of KLX they are all a blast
I recently bought a 2023 KTM 390 ADV. MOD LIST AND DYNO RESULTS HERE: BDCW skid plate, FuelX Pro+ (worth the price! zero issues! more power!) Dominator full exhaust (cat delete, resonator delete, moves the o2 sensor out of way for BDCW skid plate) Rottweiler air box lid, K&N Foam Air filter. SW mo-tech Crash bars. 2 inch handle bar extensions and longer clutch cable (came together). GIVI top case rack (30l) and GIVI side paneers and rack(22l each), Tusk Tank bag. RHINO water proof bags on crash bars (two 6l). DYNO RESULTS.. - 62 HP 54 TQ.. 388 wet weight. I weigh 220 lbs. with gear on. 6'1 height. My PB 0-60 is 4 sec flat (trying to get her in the 3s lol). Paid $6,000 for the bike brand new. put around $2000 into mods. I got into a big accident(not my fault).. only the plastics broke (cheap replacements). Bike is super tough, super durable, extremely safe, and over all well built. only issues I ran into was some of the wire routings from the dealership was not done correctly ( nothing major easy fixes ). Hope this help anyone looking to buy one, They are so much fun and the perfect bike for all stages of riders, fairly inexpensive compared to other bikes. Off-road on these bikes is INSANELY FUN!
Hello, did you re-spring this bike? I’m 200lbs without gear like you. Since I have 7.0kg/mm and 95n/mm spring front and rear, my front wheel is losing traction constantly….
So being a canadian, fantic just became available in canada so i ordered a xef310 which is just a bored out wr250 so i am checking out these wr reviews sp how the chasis handles
Talking about guys in jeans and flannel shirts. several years ago we raced V2R, this guy lined up next to us. He was wearing jeans with pads on the outside, old MX boots, old ass long sleeve jersey , no gloves.. sucker finished 5th overall. It was Gary Wells..
