tilting it to the side little worked too but at 90 degrees moving should be the similar concept. i practiced it lifting with the 16 ft fiberglass werner. at first i struggled to move my 28 ft hyperlite little giant ladder with the louiville stabilizer bar even with two people. need to build the muscle memory because the idea of balance ing the ladder did not come to my mind
@wagyu_killer hello, balance is everything, of course like u say building the muscles up help, I use balance in other things like loading and unloading my canoe, it takes skill moving a big ladder, I have practiced for about 4 decades :)...thanks for ur input !
@GroovyMisfit right off the top of my head no but there has to be a vinyl glue or weld on the market...maybe even gorilla glue gel would work...I hope u find a solution GroovyMisfit!

@SickBuckNaStY 🤣🤣🤣...I hear ya :) , that's lake superior by 12 mile campground, I have never seen anyone bank fish there, almost never even a boat go by, but I do go in fall when Miss Superior can really dance when she wants to, most know to be extremely careful that time of year, I like ur attitude toward fishing, going to try and go myself maybe tomorrow here in southern indiana :)
Mmmm, microwave and rehydrated. Meal of champions there..... No offense, but even for truckers, at their price point (Denny's) there are many other healthier options and places to eat at. All these places are good for is finding you after your truck has been sitting at one location days longer than it was allowed.
@shadowdemon13 u sound like u r speaking from experience, I agree Dennys is not super healthy but I'm thinking there r healthy choices on the menu, being a trucker can't be easy...I see a lot of drivers just walking around alone...eating alone, probably sleeping alone on the road, thank u shadowdemon for ur insights

I have always felt like this channel is some thing I was meant to do, as u know, super hard work(coming up on 4 years for me) but a total investment in the future, and not just near future, imagine ur videos(films)around 50 years from now playing...digital time capsules for future generations :) I discovered on this YT path that I'm a storyteller...some folks say "Mr. Lawrence...get to the point on ur videos!" But...in reality, they r missing the point. I believe the wave of the platform is going back to(maybe never left) long form videos being watched on 85" TVs. Still...that's the "meat" so to say...the gravy are shorts! I can shoot dozens per day...usually upload about 6 per day through out the day...now thats work and that's channel growth, back to the point about being a storyteller...I take folks on the journey, when some one writes about how they felt like they were along for the ride...I think "all right!"...mission accomplished:)

Looks like a great float, that I've wanted do for years. I mostly do Ozark rivers...Mild 1-2 spring fed rivers, like the 11 point, North Fork of The White, Current, Niangua. Rain Bows and Small Mouth fishing is great on those rivers. TY for the video
@blackjackmusic1107 hello...yea, u can't beat the Ozarks for some of the very best rivers to paddle, l've been down the 11 point, Jack's fork, Current river...also the last 27 miles of the Buffalo river(a tad further south), I appreciate you dropping in, u are no doubt an experienced wilderness paddler, I'm betting the Current will be full in certain sections this weekend...me and my kids use to call them "body jambs" :)
@@laffilmfest3759Ya. about the Current. Due to party goers during warm weather months, I haven't floated it in years. Used to live just up steam of Bennet Springs S. Park on the Niangua. Great small mouth fishing right out side my front door. Also, I still can't figure why the Mo. Dept. of Conservation paid me to raise rain bows at the hatchery at Bennet. I'da done that for free

One of my favorite places in the Yoop. Quite a nice little museum, eh? I wrote a paper on the Fitz in college. Then for my senior thesis I wrote 30 pages detailing the 1913 storm. That was an incredible weather event! 🥶💨💨

Makes me wonder what the bay at Grand Marais looks like right now during this particular blow. Not friendly I imagine. Great footage here and I'm glad you're safe, Lawrence. What an experience, eh! EDIT: Have read about the 1940 Armistice Day storm? Or even more fierce was the big storm of 1913. It hit every Great Lake over the course of three days. White Hurricane is an excellent book for a good survey of what happened. Wicked, wicked storm in which around 200 sailors lost their lives.

I cut my teeth learning to fish for smallmouth on blue river from Fredericksburg all the way down to the Ohio River. Spent a lot of summer days as a kid wading the riffles with my dad. I wish the smallie fishing was still as good as it used to be.

I remember one year driving M-58 when we had a motor mount break on our '93 Sable. We made it back--gingerly--to a local mechanic in Wetmore, just east of Munising, and he had her fixed up the very next day. Try getting that kind of service here in our hometown of Grand Rapids, MI. It won't happen. I sure do miss living up there. ❤

I have met only friendly good folks in the UP, but I travel enough to know when u arrive in an area u show the locals the respect they deserve, I saw one of the coolest fireworks display ever in grand rapids down town over 3 decades ago on the 4th, haven't spent much time there but it seems like a nice place to live, yea...taking the curves on H-58 in '93 sable would make a terrific video for sure :)

Great video Mr. Lawrence! My old stomping grounds. When I was a teenager my friends and I would jump off of that old iron bridge into the river whenever it was deep enough. Brings back memories of days gone by. I wouldn’t think of doing that today. Another Bald Eagle sighting. So majestic!
@Cullins-at.thebarn that's a long jump for sure, I imagine the bridge has a few stories to tell :), when the pandemic hit in 2020 it forced me off the road trips and to be closer to home(not to mention gas prices), in doing so I realized I didn't have to drive a thousand miles to come up with a good video, since then I feel like an unofficial ambassador to Southern Indiana...we live in a very beautiful part of this great country :)...thanks Mark!
