Great video Mr. Lawrence! My old stomping grounds. When I was a teenager my friends and I would jump off of that old iron bridge into the river whenever it was deep enough. Brings back memories of days gone by. I wouldn’t think of doing that today. Another Bald Eagle sighting. So majestic!
@Cullins-at.thebarn that's a long jump for sure, I imagine the bridge has a few stories to tell :), when the pandemic hit in 2020 it forced me off the road trips and to be closer to home(not to mention gas prices), in doing so I realized I didn't have to drive a thousand miles to come up with a good video, since then I feel like an unofficial ambassador to Southern Indiana...we live in a very beautiful part of this great country :)...thanks Mark!

I cut my teeth learning to fish for smallmouth on blue river from Fredericksburg all the way down to the Ohio River. Spent a lot of summer days as a kid wading the riffles with my dad. I wish the smallie fishing was still as good as it used to be.
@so.inoutdoors hello! I have paddled from mill town to the ohio...that's a long ways :), so were those rock bass I was catching? O wait...I'm getting to release that video tomorrow, I figured for sure u would know, putting in at blue chapel and paddling up stream is nice because rarely would u ever see anybody up there, on a different note...how's the fishing at patoka lake?
