I think think that is a great idea. Having a place you can sort out and keep the store looking good. That way you don't have to work outside in the rain or heat. This would work great if you get an employee or two for the store. Hope it works out well for you.
I wouldn’t go returns on cards by any means. At that point you’re asking for those packs where people take the rares and return the commons. Or open them and they have no valuable cards and they get returned. I’d only go wholesale for cards
@@GuywithaToyStore yeah that’s a common thing with returns. People are not good when it comes to that. I’ve seen many resale videos and haven’t ran into any be good to go. It’s why I wouldn’t take the chance. Be happy for any that you get naturally like the Lorcana set. But I wouldn’t seek them out specifically
@@knightgx3 Sad News, the Lorcana Set was actually opened and reglued, when we did the shake test it did not sound right, so we cut one open and found it had been reglued.
Good Black Series 3 pack and Joe multi pack. First two monster high are knockoffs. The Frankie is legit. Micro Galaxies are in Ross for 4.99. But look for the Chases and you'll make good money on those. Funko with damaged boxes are damn near worthless. So pick out those crispy ones. Good load and hope you make a bundle.
Interesting load. Small Costco loads are probably best. If you took a big load you would get a tone of the same things since they only bring in a small amount of different toys. The electronics are a good find on there, better then all the sporting goods on the target loads. lol
Maybe you could have a section for items like the Minnie Mouse at the end of the video. You could call it T.O.M. Toy Overstock Misfits or something like that. Loving your videos.
We are kind of thinking about making a section in the store for items like that. We've got some ideas about how to package those items. I'll try to explain it a bit in next video!
Glad things are looking up for the Amazon order. Maybe you will need to use those balloons from the first 2 videos for the sales you are going to have from those boxes
You can find them at a few retailers online, but I would recommend Best Buy delivery to you house. They pack them very securely and it where I purchased the Raphael for the shop. Hoping to get the whole set to display.
Those Star Wars Micro sets are really cool. It's such a shame what Disney has done to the brand. Those things should be flying off shelves, but there's so much malaise with Star Wars now. I see those peg warming everywhere. Target even had a big sale on them a couple weeks back and I think maybe three of them sold at my local store A trick I've learned for opening cardboard packaging with tabbed flaps is to stick a pocket knife under the front of the flap at the top with the blunt side of the blade towards the tab and use it to lift the tab up and out without bending or ripping the flap/tab. AKA boxes like that Godzilla set that you want to look inside but still hope to sell to a collector. Hopefully I'm describing that well enough. Having a hard time wording it in a way that feels clear
I think I get what you mean on the package deal. It's kind of funny, we sold both those star wars sets on eBay yesterday. Windu and I think one that'll be in next video .
Well at least you have enough balloons for a big sale weekend??? Nice bin of the stuff stuff in the bags could go in the bins by the window? Hope it was a good weekend of selling.
There fact they're boxed up like that means that its extremely curated. The person who sold it to you is spending time looking through everything to pick out the good stuff and only leave the garbage for you. Amazon returns come originally in Gaylords just stacked and stacked loose items... that's what you want.
This came directly from Amazon liquidation. Literally. We paid Amazon and it was fulfilled by Amazon. Shipped from Amazon out of Vegas, 1200 East Alexander Road. Edits. Our Target loads come in gaylords, direct. We learned our lesson pretty early buying thru a third party.
That is a Crite Pokemon cards are tight Magic cards are awesome. The lotr looks sealed and should be fine The brothers war is probably missing packs or replaced packs.
The brothers war was complete all 36 packs, both lotr boxxes were good. All elite trainer pokemons were opened, went through, and re-sealed/shrink wrapped.
I was really surprised they let people return things like that. I'm really going to try and show some of it in the next video. Target is our bread and butter 😋
I'm sorry you had to experience this, unfortunately every Liquidator has to experience Amazon Customer Returns you are officially in the business, now stay away from Amazon Customer Returns!
I know how you feel. After the order is worked out it is like I don't feel like doing anything else. So don't feel bad. Still think you need a few more dump bins by the window to stop from using it as the place to stack things. Also having that PT Cashier would help in get those little things done to keep the cash desk area cleaner as well. Good luck this week cleaning up some.
Man I'm dying to get my own label printer, but that has to wait until after I've made enough to get my own scale. Until then I'm having to bundle up several items at a time and use the kiosk at the main postal branch on my way home from regular job. I am slowly ramping up my sales though, so I'm hopeful to have enough profit to reinvest in those tools by next month
Keep grinding and you'll get there. The first thing I bought was a mail scale off of Facebook Marketplace. I printed my labels and taped them on for a long time. After we opened the store we've just been reinvesting into equipment.
That reinvestment is something I'm having to learn to balance. Holding back on buying inventory and tools until I've brought in enough profit to justify the expenditures. Been on a small roll this week though. Made four sales over the weekend and two more this week. Not bad for only having about 10 listings up at a given time. And that brings me to 38 items sold when it had taken me five months to reach 30. I've gotten to the point now where I need to upgrade my inventory and expense tracking too. Good problems to have, and the challenge is exciting me
I agree. Even if that part timer is just there to ring up sales so you can be free to do the ebay orders. Help customers. Price more product. Reset areas. The time has come to have a cashier and that person can also be the one doing the sweeping and all that fun stuff.
Once it is in your budget, you should hire a high schooler or someone to check orders daily and go to the store to grab and package them up/ship them out.
I'm going to wish you luck on the Amazon load, us store owners normally stay away from Amazon mainly because it's normally used inventory. We tried it once with one of our store locations we received used toilet seats moldy Tools & Toys, lots of small bulk items, it was bad... Hopefully you got a better deal, we didn't receive a manifest on ours so hopefully you did
