Hi, we're Jeremy and Jess! In 2016 we sold our completely finished home and bought a fixer upper. About a year later, we decided to stop everything and pay off all of our consumer debt before beginning all the renovations on our list. In 15 months we paid off $34,000 dollars in debt and then began putting back for our emergency fund. Now we're punching our remodel in the face and using cash instead of debt. Follow along as we go room by room through our home tackling everything from DIY to design all without borrowing a penny!
well the first thing you did was to cut the board in half, just by doing that you got rid of 1/2 of your twisted board problem…🤷 also should you have cut it longwise you would have almost solved the problem 🙈😁
You do realize you can still buy the old school spouts right? And the vents, take the dumb spout out of your new gas can, put an old one on, drill a hole in the back, pop the vent in and voila
First he complains about the new gas can because of the spout. Then his current gas can is the one he praises for the old school spout. But still insist on the pump.
Question people's ability to understand objects? Because I have no problem. Pouring from the modern gas can or an old gas. Can I might just be an idiot savant, but I don't know
Ask for their free scrap wood. Bonus if you already use it for wood burning work cause you can make an art project and sell it. Not only you get the wood for free but I'd you have it (walmart for $20 and a hand sander for a dollar.) But if you have the 1 time purchases you can get money!
You can beat them at their own game. Just get the barcodes for the smaller one, cut a big one return three small ones. It’s technically not stealing, because you are bringing something back to the store that matches the product description exactly. 😊
I bought a f350 and it came with a transfer tank. So nice. I think it holds 70 gallons. I have a 2 antique tractors and 2 garden tractors and a generator. When i need gas i pull up to my trk. And last fall i filled up 50 gallons then filled tractor as needed to plow but light winter and no power outage i didnt use it all😊
Am i the only person that actually likes the new style spouts? Cause i have spilled a whopping 0 gas using them, and probably 10 gallons over my life using the old style
My gas can works better than them all. Amazon sells them. They're amazing. Stens no spill. Handle on the back of it so you dont have to hold/hug it awkwardly.
WARNING! this pump has a manufacturer material issue which will cause gasoline to fill the battery compartment with liquid fuel after the device has been used for awhile. We found that the glue the manufacturer used does not stay in the area it is supposed to be sealing. the sealant appears to be a type of "hot meltglue"which when exposed to gasoline breaks down or dissolved into a less than desirable condition. We tried to replace the manufacturer sealant with high temp black silicone sealant but the silicone does not adhere well to the plastic used to make the body of the fuel transfer device. The pressure from the pumping of the fuel will cause the seal to move up allowing the fuel to enter the battery compartment. We placed some foam plastic material in the area where the seal is supposed to be; filling the space between the silicone seal and the battery contact plate. This method has worked so far. Some of the newer pumps come with a fuel drain slot at the top of the long tube. We are not sure what that design feature is for but fuel will leak out of that port all over the outside of the pump in units containing that feature.
