Thanks for clicking on our channel. My story is simple. I grew up without much education or money. Left home at 15. Lived under the Motueka bridge for a while and then returned to the bush where I had come from when I was younger and my dad was a ranger for the Parks Board. I survived from fishing. hunting, trapping, snaring, spearing, foraging, and any other way I could live until I got my first job picking Tobacco. Years pased and at 27 I found my self on the other side of the world playing music in Germany... I stayed there for 13 years and played under the name of Spider until oneday I came home to raise my children and return to the sea and land. Now I take young people out who don't have dads to teach them the ways of the bush and I make videos about that and other outdoor stuff. I make all the music for my clips too. Hunting channels are not so popular on youtube so I joined Patreon and this is what enables me to keep the channel going with help of 1% of my Subscribers.
nice stuff Clay, I miss the South Island. Whilst those cheap knives are cheap, a good custom knife carries the memories of the hunt with you, yell out if you need one mate.
Is there another channel like this. I mean like how he start a survival challenge where it starts with nothing but camera and clothes? I already watched a lot of his video and its great so good to watch to watch real survival channel.

Good to hear from you Patrick. I played 3159 gigs in Irish pubs in Germany from 1991 -2005. I got to know a lot of Irish people who worked at the bars. I love the Irish music. Say hi to your dad from me mate.

@ClayTallStories +I'm doing well mate..spending some time in my hometown atm visiting me Mum and step dad. I must say returning here after 5 years I've a new appreciation for the town, the people and the environment. Definitely a chill Sunday. Stay blessed.
Eh mate..wait isnt fathers day in September unless your talking about the Americans. But so so true unfortunately all my sisters kids other then 2 dont have fathers that give a shit. Theres nothing worse as a uncle then seeing your nephews and neices been let down year after year by useless sperm donors who just wanted to get their rods wet. Your an amazing father bro as are so many.
Hi there, i've been watching your vids on and off for years and ive recently found an interesting family connection. I would be very grateful if you could point me in the right direction to contact you privately. Thanks mate and best up luck with the community guidline bs.
This is the first hunting video I've ever watched and it was a beauty. We sailed away from our home shores in 2018 and this made me home sick. Ever though I've never hinted myself, other than with a spear gun under water. Beauty!
@ClayTallStories yeah absolutely. Unfortunately, NZs filled with dickheads who conform to every whim and decree the govt announces. Also worth noting, we have had similar censorship issues from YT on our channel. So frustrating. I thought your follow up video description and analysis of what YT did to this video was very well explained. Well done and good luck!
Most animals in nature are or they are feeding their young. This one actually was a young yearling so too young to do either, but even if it was it would not matter. We have nothing that naturally predates on deer here in NZ so we hunters have to regulate numbers otherwise the deer will destroy the plant life of our native species.
