Property tours, market reports, strategies, and other real estate information.
Aloha! I'm a Real Estate Broker in Hawaii specializing in helping residential buyers and sellers achieve their real estate goals. We will cover the properties on the market, real estate topics, and market information.
All homes should be built to accommodate the elderly and disabled. This will be better for everyone. Large wide doorways and hallways make using a cane, walker or wheel chair much easier. Bathrooms or wet rooms need to have flat floors and no shower hump or pan. A flat floor allows for easy access and drains need to provided. Easy to use lever door and faucet handles are easier for the elderly to grip and open. Main floors should include a master bedroom, restroom, shower, laundry and wide walk in closet with few steps to enter. Homes should be designed with aging in place in mind.
I've stayed at Kolea on A-bay in a top-floor unit, and this is similar, though Hapuna is a better location IMO and it sounds like room service (and I assume housekeeping) make it a bit more full service.
WHAT EVER HAPPENED WITH THIS PROERTY.?? I was watching a new post of yours where it had real wood floors (Made from a tree on the property? You made a reference to the last time you showed us a house with real wood floors was back 2 or 3 years. . I feel in love with this place. My concern might be on getting between the houses in a bad storm. Maybe build a tunnel My grand kids would never want to leave
I agree with your idea for the pool. You have some much room, maybe look at a lazy River? And toss in a out door kitchen? Other wise love the home. But I would add the solar PV
Gorgeous view, but not sure it’s optimal given $7M price. Condo looks like it’s in immaculate condition. Odd layout though. Configured family room adjacent to kitchen was the right move. The dining room area is the odd part. Would have been better if there was no wall between family room and dining room. Stovetop next to the counter edge means bacon grease splatter will end up on the floor. No tub in primary?! Again for $7M, one would expect at least a tub no? Hotel amenities is a huge plus. Thanks for the video, always enjoyable. You guys are great too. Keep up the great job.
The price of real estate is determined by the market. If you look at the comp sales and competing listings, this is a great list price. Not everyone can afford it- but that's also part of the appeal for the people who do want to buy there.

Sure, but then you'd have to live in Houston. I'm from Texas, and I lived in H-town for a year. Never again! People from all over the world are not buying in Houston for a vacation property so it's probably a weird comparison. The price of real estate is determined by the market. @@HawaiiRealEstate the market is over priced fam, thats a apartment the size of my garage, i paid 1.3m for my house, hawaii prices are insane as california as is not because the market 99% of hawaiians cant pay that lol
@@johnsonrepp that was a leasehold one bedroom condo fixer, and the lease expires in 15 years. You don't own the land on that, just the condo, just for 15 years.

@@HawaiiRealEstate I’ve seen some of the other properties you’ve shown and those look much better. $7m is just a lot of money even in that market and I think that is why my comment received so many likes. Sorry, but this property was not my cup of tea, but you have a good channel and I am glad you cover Hawaii Real Estate. Have you also considered doing some of the other islands like Oahu and Maui?
I wouldn't pay more then 700k for a condo. I would never pay 7 mil when Hawaii has ocean front homes for 4 mil. I could almost get two homes for the price of this one condo.
I don’t have $700K or $7M; from that perspective I’d guess it’s mostly location - Hapuna Beach and the resort are well known. Followed by high end finishes and high end appliances - it all adds up.
@@HawaiiRealEstate a person has money because they don't make unwise investments. A person can get a beautiful ocean front in the most wanted location for the price of the condo. Reselling a condo will be harder then reselling an ocean front home. The condo isn't worth the 7 mil. Being it's a nice condo and a good location I would say max would be 2 mil. But then again I don't believe in buying condos. To much negatives comes with not being the sole person owning the property. You might say but a person does own the whole condo. But you will forget it's attached to a property the condo owner doesn't own. The person will have less say and control over their own home
That's not how real estate works. You'd still have to have the money to buy it at auction. Also, name me one celebrity who has had their house seized, aside from tax fraud and not having the cash to pay the fine?
@@HawaiiRealEstate Paying a fine?.. the fines price is forfeiture of EVERYTHING And it is off to gitmo you go, tray tore... How is it you didn't understand?
THIS MAN IS ONE OF A HANDFUL OF REALTORS IN HAWAII I WOULD EVER USE......THIS MAN BROUGHT SO MUCH LOVE, CONCERN, AND TRUTH TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE DURING THE LAHAINA FIRE. GOD BLESS THIS MAN
The only thing I would change is to move that tree you see looking at the ocean. You can just move it to the right so you will be presented with an unobstructed view.
Why on earth is it only 900k ? Isint Hawaï the most expensive real estate in the us?? That house is perfect. I would of thought a house like this would be more like 8 million.
This home is my Hawaii dream home. The acreage is right, and the way it's laid out and planted is perfect. The backyard checks every box. The pool is beautiful, and importantly, long enough to do decent laps in. The home itself is perfectly designed; even the room colors are perfect. The view is the best I've seen of all your presentations, Mike, and for me the airport being part of it is a bonus. The only thing(s) I think I might add would be a dry sauna and a steam room in that flex space, and make the flex space a gym and massage station.
Looking t this stunning home again. I could sit out side, fires going watching the lights on the ocean and the stars. But I have a question: Those palm trees on each side of the pool, How big will the root ball get. They seem really close to the walls of the hot tube and pool
It's crazy that you can get this for 3.5 million, and a basic split-level, no gutters & T-1,11 siding in a neighborhood full of kids racing dirtbikes up and down the street is 1.4 million. 🤙🏼
I'd be growing some serious vegetables and a ton of Carolina Reapers and Bhut Jolokia Ghost Peppers. In the garage I'd be happy as a fly on...well, you know, working on my cars. I LOVE the privacy of this location. I would like to add more bedroom suites so my family from Europe can come over and stay as long as they want to. (Hmm, I need like 12 bedrooms! Yikes! but hey, enough space right?)
