No, the ITouch Sure uses a probe that needs to be inserted into the vagina. The probe has electrode plates that need to be in contact with the walls of the vagina to transmit a tiny current to the muscles. It cant do that if a pessary is in place.

I have tryed this and first couldn't feel anything. Then i increased it then I felt like a tingle sensation. And I could feel it squeezen the muscle so much! Is this how it should work? Im worried it is lifting everything too much? It works I didnt realise it could lift so much. When i tryed manually doing them myself, before i couldn't feel much of a lift, only abit Does this mean my pelvic floor is really weak? I only used it once due to now im pregnant so can't use it untill 6 weeks after baby is out. 😊
Dear @mumof5leeleex875, thank you for your comment! You should start feeling a sensation at around the 25.0 mark. The STRESS programme and the second 10 minutes of the MIXED programme are designed to cause muscle contractions in order to tone the pelvic floor, so what you are feeling is that contraction. It means the device is working! Your muscles will strengthen with continued use of the device, and you should start to see results in a couple of weeks with full results being seen after about 8 - 12 weeks. We hope this helps! Hi @user-dw6xc8hd2h, it does not hurt at all! However you can feel the muscles pulling up and contracting like you would if you were doing a kegel exercise. The device has 199 tiny steps of intensity so you can increase it to a point where it's comfortable for you. Hi Char.x! May we ask which programme you are using? The Urge programme is very gentle, this is also true for the the Urge part of the Mixed programme. This is because the Urge programme is designed to sooth the pelvic floor rather than stimulate it. The Stress and Tone programmes are muscle stimulation programmes, so will feel stronger as they cause a muscle contraction. I hope this helps! Hi, me again, I have come back to trying the device again. But I can not for the life of me get the probe to sit right, I hold it in place too and it connects sometimes but have to keep readjusting. I purchased the bigger prob you do, and I’m still finding it hard to get the correct contact. I use the stress setting mainly. Any ideas? Or are my muscles past it :(, I’m only 28! And it’s really getting me down. Currently waiting on appointment to see uro gyn. So any help in the meantime would be very much appreciated
Hi Maria! Please make sure you are inserting the probe prior to turning the device on, and that you are using it at a high enough intensity. Keep pressing the up arrow until the stimulation is strong but comfortable. It is also worth noting the Urge programme is very gentle, as is the Urge part of the Mixed programme. This is because it's designed to sooth the pelvic floor rather than stimulate it. The Stress and Tone programmes are muscle stimulation programmes, so will feel stronger. I hope this helps! Dear Jad a, thank you for your question. It should not cause problems if the coil is properly fitted, however caution should be taken. Please see below; Caution should be used if you have a copper IUD. If discomfort occurs, discontinue treatment immediately and ask your healthcare professional for advice. There is a small risk of stimulating the uterine wall if the IUD is not correctly positioned. Just to be clear, the iTouch Sure will not interfere with the effectivity of the coil, however there is a very small chance the coil could interfere with the effectivity of the iTouch Sure by picking up some of the stimulation, but only if it is improperly fitted and sitting too low.
