A console gamer adjusting to a PC world. I play mostly off of steam but play with a controller. I want to show off new games, show games you've already played in a new light, and show tips and ideas to help you enjoy a game more that you might not be having as much fun with.

I think the 4 procedural wrecks on the original planet are slightly less powerful for high level loot than the portal wrecks. I look at it like a progression step. You get better stuff than the blue chests and small wrecks and access to some items earlier in the game when you can't build the portal, but to really get the good loot you have to go through the portal. Keep the extra access cards. You'll need at least 5 for a secret location later in the game....
Oh those explosive spots are procedural? I thought they were pretty constructed thought only the portal ones were random. Oh so you're supposed to get extras! Haha you answered a lotta questions from the video I JUST recorded and haven't even edited yet haha!

Actually that pause was kinda supposed to say I opened up the 3x3 here's where I want it to go but there's a ton of stuff in the way. HAHA actually I didn't even think about it I suppose I could've left it as a marker! Yeah if you ever find yourself on a LARGE river then red on the right will take you inland and green on the right will take you out to whatever ocean/sea it's connected to.
With a keyboard/mouse I can pick up explosives after they are dropped just like any dropped inventory item, as long as I haven't triggered them yet. Not sure why your controller didn't have an option to pick back up. I have occasionally had flares glitch into the floor a bit and not be able to change the color once down. On the tree collision preventing the T2 aquarium, you can just remove the tree seed and put it back into the spreader to reset the trees and let you build as desired. You shouldn't need to deconstruct the spreader itself.
Haha yeah I fixed the aquarium when I got the red trees I quickly built it while they were growing. Yeah I just had the flare thing happen to me today actually. Oh you can pick em back up! Oh cool! Yeah controller updates seem just slightly behind other control updates I'm ok w it though they let me swap gas and break for the rover!

Finding extra accesscards is pretty common. I think you skipped a Rubero tree seed in the shuttle in the hidden, Red biome. Lockers can be placed outside, they just need to be placed on a Foundation.
Oh duh we can make foundations now lol yeah totally forgot about that! Oh ok extra access cards are a thing then. I just finished recording next episode and spent a lengthy amount of time questioning myself if I missed something during it lol

Haha yeah that happens to me sometimes... I've seen it it's got decent reviews. Same publisher different developer. I was also looking at wild west dynasty that one started with awful reviews but recent ones say it's way better. A year or 2 ago Toplitz teased a pirate one that I was dying for but haven't heard anything on it in quite a while.

@@7CGames I was hunting badgers when I found him. I went to a location that showed a badger population there. Off to the East I found Alwin standing at an intersection in the road. I looked at the map at noted the location.

You do get the gift trader when you build the tavern, you also get the troubadours for one whole season each year, at least that’s what has happened in my village the last three years! I love the music its so cheerful!

I just purchased this a few days ago on ps5 - 17$. I made my seasons 21 days and made bandits more difficult and animals. This game is devine tbh. Great video
@@7CGames They should add a few more towns and then add small "armies" that could attack if your rep is bad or what have you. would be a nice aspect. especially since they are adding flags/banners and more gear.
Regarding frame rate, I think since the game tracks each object that you drop (it stays in the world and never goes away) that this contributes to the strain on rendering and graphics, so it might be impacting this. I carry a shredder in my vehicle or backpack (the recipe components) and then you can build it as you travel and destroy all that loose and unwanted inventory to remove it from the game. Or you can set the drones to take them home from your vehicle to a couple designated chests and destroy it when you get home.
At 18:54, you were leaving the desert wreck ship, but there was one more new room opened by the generator. It is through the doorway/opening to your right at the time stamp. Ha ha, you also missed it at 32:25 when you thought you went to the wrong wreck by mistake - ironic because you were worried about the room you missed... I think you forget to deconstruct the technical debris at the top near the generator next to where the false wall used to be? There were some on the ground I don't think you deconstructed.
Good idea using the ramps in the warden area for larva collection! hahahahaha ! loved the costume change and hurrah with the comet coming in! And the batteries in the car was super funny too. Love the storytelling refinements, you get better every time 7! Great episode!!

I'm not sure if you unlocked it yet, so this might be irrelevant.... But there's like an "Ecosystem" thing.... It does generate larvae, and add to your stats...... I was personally unclear on if it also generated globally more larvae, or you just got the larvae's you pulled out of it.... Not sure.....

I wanna say bioplastic nuggets, and circuit boards, both of which are a must as you go forward..... I had to put up a silicon Mine..... You should play the way you want, but I demand the 5 separately into a cabinet, and if the cabinet is full I dump it in a pile outside. Stays there indefinitely..... the silicon I always needed... And Iron & Cobalt go real fast, if you start building an epic base.... You need windows, you need ladders..... New topic, Trade Rockets: I've found that 2 things are really effective to fill up Trade Rockets: Circuit Boards and Cloth. Cloth is basically free... Put like 10 silk generators around 2 autocrafters, and just let it go. It's like free. You're using no resources. You're taking what comes out the back end of a silkworm and selling it.... and with drones, you can supply cloth out of that cabinet.... Grab some out and throw it in a different cabinet for your own use.... Really clean solution.... It's kinda hard work to build an autocrafter setup for circuit boards.... Like 3 autocrafters, and then 1 cabinet for each ingredient... But once it's up & running, you'll be drowning. I think a rocketful pays 600-700, in that range?? Really good pay.... so that's kinda worth it too. I liked to hand fill that, Juuuusst in case I suddenly needed a ton of circuit boards, but it works really well.
Yeah I know silicon is used in everything but I still want it emptying out so high priority to the storage then low priority to shredder so it only fills shredder after storage is filled. Yeah I used to automate trading with rods but seems like all rods got major reduced in price maybe I'll try fabric then!
@ 18:10 talking about mutagens..... If you find "mid grade" butterfly larvae that you don't really want, you can run it through the recycler and often get some kind of mutagen and some kind of fertilizer, which does save some trouble.....

All is from this great book!! You're in for a surprise with the 30 fish 🙃 The note was written "..as if someone was trying to hold the quill with their mouth". I can show you how to place your logs in the rack if you like. It looks really cool too. Carry your logs to the rack. Walk up the pole brace. Face the back of the rack then drop the logs perpendicular to the vertical pole that holds in the logs. I stacked planks in perpendicular rows in the plank rack and it looked really good as it got higher. Just some aesthetic tips for you that also help with storage space. Don’t forget the plum juice for mining. Cuts your time in half.

Good rule of thumb… Always provide the best available tools for your workers. When you go up in levels just stop production of the ones that have low durability like stone and use copper for things like knives and bronze for farm tools.
Yeah I always do that but didn't wanna make the full jump to bronze age till I had the mine and could send people to get tin instead of relying exclusively on me

I made that one but getting mixed feedback on that some people are saying they take them fine, other people say you need the right ramp. It also might need tweaks from render cube.

@@7CGames true that. but like others, I dislike the fact that my smithys, stalls, woodsheds and husbandries are empty during the day. Village is empty as. And the field.... I feel sleepy during ploughin or during fertilizing/seeding, or worse I fall asleep and my SXS stays on. lol. multiple occasions now.

The "beach" is still there, just looks different until the ocean spawns in. The gold chest for the beach was moved a few hundred yards away to a new location in the new cascades biome (between the beach and crater) Good luck searching - there are some new surprises in the cascades.
Oh what? I knew about the new desert and acid cave but Cascades is news to me! And I'm always playing on latest experimental build lol. Ok so ocean is just after lakes stage at some point? Alrighty just assumed when lakes formed that the beach would too lol
I really think you would be better off with a recurve bow. I can get three arrows into them before they reach me and they drop at my feet. I do use poisoned arrows though. When I did this quest I had to kill 7 Wicent to get the three skulls, I can relate to your frustration!🤷♀️
Oh man 7? Yeah I had a feeling I was getting way lucky lol. Yeah everyone keeps saying recurve I guess I just got used to the damage output. Once you get the knock back speed in the hunting skills the crossbow loads way fast. I gotta say though never played with poison arrows I gotta give that a shot!
Yeah it used to be internal only counted for mood but now external stuff counts too. You should try putting the wooden reliefs in the outside triangle part! I think giving them a better door still does nothing though not sure if they changed that.
You know i feel like you might be hunting wrong, i started using the ax in my opinion sprinting and atking is overpowered.. tho i dont have enough resources to use bows
