Hahaha we almost froze to death a few times but now we're over producing! Lol yeah I always preach population management in early game and man did I not follow that this time!

@derekwinmill5065 Oh wow thank you so much! Welcome to the valley/oxbow! I actually probably would suggest new players to finish the valley storyline and get through Racimirs story. It's a wildly well written one albeit a bit short. It also has a light but if tutorial that the oxbow kinda assumes you know. So the oxbow does kinda seem a bit of a "lvl 2". Also I haven't been able to prove this but I feel the oxbow is colder and time moves faster but I'll need to experiment on that. As for where to build one of my favorites and probably easiest is take the bridge between Gostovia and Borowo and everything from that bridge to the other bridge to the NW. A lot of the story happens in Gostovia so it's convenient for quests. They also have almost as good of a market as Hornica. Also the wagoneer for Gostovia is so close to where you can build that he might as well be YOUR towns wagoneer which is super helpful later.

@@7CGames thanks for the suggestions, for some reason the first time I read your message it only had the first part of your response, not the suggestions beyond sticking with the valley map first, I’ve got your suggestions about base locations now, thanks again, please keep your videos coming, I’m loving them

Yeah for the valley my first spot would be those bridges I was taking about between Gostovia and Borowo probably quickest and easiest spot to build. My lake series was by far my hardest build but probably prettiest. If you look north of Denica and SE of Rolnica right where the river makes a T and there's a couple bridges. That area is flat as glass and can produce a MONSTROUS farm if that's the play you wanna go for.
