I have an Everdrive 64 X5, and my menu doesn't have some of the options in this video. There is no Random Game option in the main menu. There also isn't an IPS/APS Patcher or Hide Sys Dir option either. Do I have the wrong firmware or something (currently running 3.08)? No matter what I try, the cheats absolutely will not work at all. Any assistance would be GREATLY appreciated.

When I try to extract the file from DC SWAT... it says that the file is corrupt and wont open... is there a better software to get... please help ! :)

quick note if your using a newer version of swiss the old button combination of buttons for igr still works does anybody know if their any way to power off the console using button combinations?

i have tried so far 3 games, Ikaruga wich doesnt support Virtual card, Medal of honor rising sun and MEtal geat Twin snakes, for some reason the only game that boots is Ikaruga, MoH and MGS both say an error has occurred, i burnt my own copy of the game, thought, meybe its a bad burn or the discs arent good anymore, got a copy from the web and still An error has occurred :l my drive is dying so i cant use my discs but for some reason i cant manage to make the cube play those games or pretty much anything that isnt Ikaruga :l

Desperately after some help here. I've tried following your guide but the Swiss menu at timestamp 4:18 just doesn't appear. As soon as I press A the game boots. Pressing Y on the game title doesn't do anything either. I can't seem to find anything in the Swiss settings to say the menu has been turned off and I dont know how to get it back. I'm using Swiss version 0.6 r1548. Does anyone know, can anyone help?

Another great tutorial. Out of curiousity ( because I have this problem) how can you change the default language on Duckstation on an Xbox? Mine changed to Portugese all by itself. So i'm thinking I need to find a file within Duckstation using ADV file explorer and alter it somehow?

It's nice to know that there's an alternative to ripping out the GDROM drive and sticking an ugly SD card reader into the console. Shame it doesn't work so well. I wish people would stop suggesting the GDROM drive replacement as a viable mod for the Dreamcast or at least mention that it should only be done if the disc drive is broken or you intend to sell it.

I'm having a hard time making this work. Can someone please help me out? I put the contents of DreamShell 4.0 RC 4 + Boot Loader at the root of my FAT32 SD card but the SD card icon inside the VMU manager in Dreamshell is greyed out. Help!

What happens when you have a game that is a multi-session CDI, so when you use CDIRip to turn it into CUE/BIN you actually get SESSION1.CUE/BIN and SESSION2.CUE/BIN, so in short you get 4 files? Propeller Arena is the game in question. I was trying to turn that CDI into a CHD, couldn't do it, so I found a GDI, and turning GDI into CHD is a lot easier.

i can play gdi games but it wont play cdi games

Goomba dont like some trimmed carts, and wont populate the collection with the frontend. Quite a puzzle to make it work.

Thank you so much for this! I didn't think to look up more than model numbers but after I received a supposed new in box dualshock 3 from Ebay I could tell as soon as I held it something was off. After finding your video I started taking it apart, and sure enough the screws were self tapping, the triggers were attached to the bottom shell, and the whole thing barely held itself together at all, but it gets worse! IT ONLY HAD ONE RUMBLE MOTOR! I mean talk about cheap garbage... I'm currently in the process of getting a refund.

I returned this. i couldn't get much to work on it. 15yrs ago i got the original dreamshell to work no problem, this update shouldn't have been so hard to setup in 2024 and being forced to go on a russian forum and create an account with a quiz and no way to answer so you cant create ur account and cant engage with other users to solve your issues is garbage. GDEMU was 100x better and easier to get working.
