Desean que les vaya mal y por eso hacen esos comentarios de desaliento, de que todo te irá mal en España (uno de los mejores países del mundo 😅) . Y lo de fumar en la calle, pues no lo entiendo, si no salen a la calle a fumar, lo harán a escondidas dentro del cole, eso en España y en cualquier otro país. Claro, los adolescentes no deberían fumar, pero algunos lo hacen. Os deseo lo mejor en España 😉😉👍👍❤❤❤❤❤❤

Si hablais de España lo mas logico es que si no sabeis hablar español poner por lo menos los subtitulos que podamos entender los españoles . NO TODOS HABLAMOS EL INGLES , GRACIAS
Mi primer idioma es español pero Mi canal es en inglés, y siempre lo ha sido. Aprenderé a utilizar los subtítulos en español, para los que no hablan inglés. pero solo porque hablo de España no quiere decir que mi canal tiene que ser en español.
Te recomiendo que si puedes hacerte una siesta despues de comer porque el cerebro te pide descanso aunque no lo sepas los medicos lo recomiendan si descansas 20 -30 o una hora maximo despues estas como nueva y con energia Saludos.😴😎

I’ve just found your channel. My family, with two young kids emigrated to Spain many years ago. Hang in there, it gets better. I remember being so stressed out by all the paperwork and ‘things you have to do’ but you get to the end eventually. Our kids couldn’t speak one word of Spanish when we threw them into a local school, it’s scary! But in about a month’s time, your boys will be gabbling away to their new friends with no problems. Try to relax, and remember the best part of Spanish culture is putting everything off til mañana. Good luck with everything and believe me, you have done a wonderful thing for your kids.
My family moved from suburban Ohio to Munich, Germany right when I turned 13 and my parents definitely felt a similar culture shock to what you’re describing here! Drinking was much more accepted at a younger age there than in the US. Having been on the kid’s side of it, my advice would be just to keep the lines of communication open and try not to judge too harshly. It’s likely your son will slip up and do something you don’t approve of at some point (as all kids do!), just do your best to give him another chance when it happens as I’m sure you would. You seem like a super understanding and kind mother!
I don't know if you returned it or not but the little step is really nice, I have two of them. You STEP across the fold line, NOT parallel with it and just be sure it is ALL the way open and it's perfectly sturdy. I use mine all the time when I just need a little height to get to that last shelf.
Hola, he llegado a este video por casualidad y soy española. Te escribo en español porque parece que lo entiendes y así puedo expresarme mejor. El colegio en España es obligatorio hasta los 16, pero todo el mundo (exceptuando algunos casos) continúa mínimo hasta los 18. La diferencia con EEUU es que a los 16 puedes escoger seguir estudiando para ir a la universidad o estudiar para una profesión como fontanero, electricista, peluquero,etc. Si quieres ir a la universidad, estudias Bachillerato (la continuación de la ESO). En España el Bachillerato es bastante duro y hay que estudiar bastante para sacarlo, digamos que es una preparación para la universidad y ya te tratan como a un adulto porque si estás haciendo eso es porque has decidido que quieres estudiar. Seguramente los alumnos que viste fuera del instituto fumando serían de Bachillerato, aunque yo fui a un concertado y en mi colegio no nos habrían permitido fumar justo en la puerta, habrían llamado a nuestros padres. Como comentas en el vídeo, los alumnos de ESO y Bachillerato no suelen tener contacto porque tienen horarios diferentes. Perdón por el rollo, espero que te haya servido. ¡Saludos!
High school can be concerning for a parent because kids will be exposed to more things, some of which aren't so good. I am sure you & your husband have provided a positive environment at home - which goes a long way.
It's what you call, "being a great and wonderful Mama Bear" good parents always need to be concerned and keep guiding their precious children on the right path for success in all avenues for a happy and healthy life. Once a parent forever a parent, you will always worry even if you are a 150 years old and your child is 100 years old, lol, just an example, sweet if we lived that long. What percent of their day is in Valenciano vs Espanol? We plan to move to Valencia next year and I have been searching the government/school site that shows the language splits for each school. From what I saw, the further outside of Valencia city, the higher the percentage of Valenciano in the public (not concertado) schools. Not worried about the Spanish, but super nervous about the Valenciano part.
Es ligeramente irritante cuando los estadounidenses se quejan de la burocracia española. Es mucho peor para un Europeo que intenta vivir en Estados Unidos.
My husband is Greek. One thing we noticed when visiting is that pretty much everyone in Europe smokes. I personally hate it but it’s so common there. Definitely a good move to switch schools - I’d do the same.
I get puffy in the face if I eat inflammatory foods like sugar, processed foods, gluten. If you’re eating those foods (and a lot of people do, no shame) you’ll retain a lot of water. When I was in high school ( way back when) there was a designated area for smoking! At the time it was normal for many schools. If course, nowadays it's totally verboten.
