Well done, team and kudos to both the teachers who molded this group to this level . It's just the beginning, which should motivate to do more songs and keep it going to get into national and International level competition, the likes of Shillong chamber choir group . People shouldn't have the assumption that Choral is an indicator of Christianity & the Hindu or as a matter if fact a non christian shouldn't or cant be part of "Haflong Choral Harmony". Yes there can be some parameters set in place maybe Vocal ability and Solfa knowledge to join the Choral. However that can be addresed and resolved if training are imparted to those who haven't had Exposure or trained in Solfa. We only progress when we advocate and practice inclusivity irrespective of caste and gender. So those who feel excluded should know that there is always a reason and its better to have s productive duscussion to figure out the reason . If that pproblem can be curb throug any assistant & support maybe 8k form of vocal,solfa trainig etc be open to it so that in the next MV we all stand tall together hand in hands.
