There was a strong graphic arts appearance to this show. I was able to notice some very progressive abstract compositions here and there. Maybe it's those smaller thoughtful peices that are providing us with some forgleams of the future.
Yes there were. Stolenkova Art displayed a set of smaller and interesting works. Carolina Hollinger showed us some progressive ideas. The Mohamed Mehi space presented some unique center weighted works. As most artists know, working with center weighted design is challenging. I also wanted to mention the works at Batool Jafari space. I thought that the combination of the figural and the semi - abstract elements was very successful. Quite different from the pseudo - realistic faces so often seen splashed with paint and glitter.
Thank you Art Fair Guy. And thank you Francesca Gavin for bringing this together. It is good to see art that has the appearance of being made by human hands.
You are probably correct in that. You have no doubt seen far more European shows than me. I am an artist living in America. I will be more tuned into what is happening in Europe thanks in part to your videos. Morris
You really are incredibly lousy with the camera...you are not supose to JERK the camera like that...and most important...when you decide to stop at a painting...SHOW THE FULL PAINTING...not just half of it.
@@robertcoyle1532 I agree. This exhibition really changed my mind about Warhol and made me think about his works quite different. From basic photography to basic drawings to basic paintings. There is definitely a lot of recognitional value there, but quality wise it's very basic.
