The whole Olympics was an anime reference. They were supposed to take place in 2020 n Tokyo, but an almost world ending event put a stop to it....a la Akira
The only slightly annoying thing about these demos is that although they show what the engine is capable of, no game that uses them ever comes close to looking like the demo. Or devs (or even gaming hardware) isn't able to match the standards. (Apart from the Unreal Engine 5 one though since that one actually WAS gameplay) But yeah. The Unreal Engine 3 demo showed a level of graphics we've never really gotten, even by today's standards. Even some of the very best looking games (a few examples like Order 1886 or Calisto Protocol) haven't matched what that demo showed.
Ratios aren't a big deal, adding weights is not difficult and many gyms will explicitly tell people to leave a set number of plates on a given machine after use. There is a reason Rogue still sells the Pit Shark which is probably 1:6 even though they make a Rhino that costs half as much and has a 1:1 ratio. The two both belt squats feel and act completely differently.
@@FlashGamer521 i agree its not a big deal in a commercial gym. But for a home gym, not this machine though 😆, especially for small space (and wallet like me🥲😢😢), i always try to go for 1:1 ratio. I make my own machine, mostly, i always make them 1.5:1 or 2:1 if i can, depending on the negative phase inertia and momentum.. So, i lift more with less plates. Like the seated calf raise machine
@@bisaular5333 In a home gym you could just leave plates on it indefinitely! Just need to get some more plates. But yeah, it does take up a lot of space. Donnie Thompson the guy whom the Thompson fat pad is named after made sure his home gym had one, and his space actually isn't that large. Szatstrength and Jujimufu both have videos on his gym; might be worth a look if you haven't seen them.
The fact that they worked in an anime sequence to actually score a point in men’s volleyball is fucking EPIC! It literally is exactly the same. It warms my heart that humanity found a way to bond over anime.
you do realize they did this in the volleyball world cup 2019 without taking inspiration from the manga or anime (haikyuu season 4 came out in 2020 i think). also the way you say this is like volleyball itself is scripted 💀 not tryna hate but you sound exactly like all the cringe haikyuu fans
