Thank you for showing the process of assembling each section of triangles. I am planning a welding project involving a D20, and I was having trouble visualizing how to put it together. This helped loads and will make it a lot easier to put it together for the first time
Push the cartridge in until you hear the click, then put the pen straight upside down with the top on and leave it alone for a few minutes. Don’t try to write with it before the ink flows; you write on an angle, while the initial ink flow needs gravity. Also, It’s supposed to dry brush with a fast stroke just like any real brush. I’m guessing like a real brush, there may be something on the bristles to keep them in form, so you may need to quick rinse and dry before use?
Ah I love this! I’ve just done a game zero for a half elf sorcerer with wild magic too! They’re called Enfys Hiræth which are actually Welsh words. I was looking around for some inspiration to help me draw them before our next game and found your work, I REALLY love your style! Thank you for sharing and happy arting and gaming
i used this video to help me make my giant d20, but I used wood, so all i had to do was adjust the angle on my saw to 20.9, it gives its own bevel on upon cutting
I been looking for about an hour on how to do this without sewing it and I can't find one please recommend one, I'm asking because at my school we can't wear hoodies with a hood on it
Big question so I'm in wood working and I couldn't find any other video on how to do this but yours so would I be able to follow this video at least somewhat accordingly just with wood of course tools would have to be changed but my concern is measurements when it comes to the angle needed for the bevell
Disappointed that the link for a template actually goes to an arithmetic assignment…. if I wanted to math to draw out my own I wouldn’t be looking for a template!
Aww I wish I found this video before making my first foam prop (a giant D20) for a stage performance. But now I know how to improve my methods. Thank you so much, 2 years later!!
@@Swanstardesignsexcellent! I can't wear "hoodies" at work & it's hard to find nice sweatshirts without hoods. I'm cutting my favorite hoodie today & trying this idea. Thank you 🎉
Hello, I'm experimenting with MandellaGraba. It was great fun drawing the pristine lines, but when it came to filling the shapes with color, it stopped filling after 8 goes. Is this a limitation? Do you know a way around this? Thanks. BTW, thanks for so much helpful info.
thank you so much for this video! you do a gorgeous job documenting an absolutely vivid piece of work,. and your tip about using a solvent to cut the wax in some pencils...I have done many pieces with coloured pencil, and wish I had ever heard of trying this! Thanks so much!
Thanks so much for the kind words! Whoever came up with the solvent idea first is a genius. It’s the best thing I’ve ever learned for colouring with pencils :)
Amazing tutorial thank you! We’re about to create a giant D20 3xs the size of this to use in an interactive theatre show. Do you have any advice to ensure it’s durable enough for throws during a show. Is the 10mm strong enough or would you suggest filling it with a lighter foam/sponge material. Thanks
Ooo that sounds like fun! 3x the size would be awesome!! The 10mm I used for mine is sturdy enough for the size I made it.. if it was 3x the size I wonder if the sides might bow or curve inward and not stay flat.. I'm not sure. It wouldn't hurt to use a thicker foam, which would be sturdier but it would also be heavier (its not really all that heavy anyway though). Or I guess you could put a stiff flat piece of plastic or something stuck on the inside of the foam to keep the sides from warping at all. But that adds more work. I think your best bet is to just test it and perhaps be prepared that you might need to make a few prototypes first.
That's a big dice! I'm going to use alot of your ideas to throw a dnd wedding reception for my son😍 They will love ALL your stuff. Thank you for sharing your talents!!
Hi, thanks for subscribing! It was an unexpectedly long break that I took, but I'm planning on getting a new video out soon, with more to come. Back for 2023, lol (where did the last few years go!?!?!)
