Hi Kate, I'm the frenetic coder who created Mandalagaba :) I love seeing people use it and do cool things with it. You might want to explore what happens if you click on the cat at the bottom right of the screen. Specifically in the "pro" section, you can export your work as SVG to work in Illustrator and others. You can also play with tessellation and recursive drawing, or all of the above at the same time. Please feel free to get in touch (contact info also beind the cat :)), I might be able to give you ideas for projects, this tool can do a lot more than appears on the surface and I'm working on more. Oh fantastic!!! I spotted the little cat in the corner after I'd stopped recording the video - I'll definitely take a look at some of the other options, though. Tessellation sounds like fun! Ooo... so many awesome options!!! Thanks so much for sharing, and for making a great app.
Thank you Kate, I might give the apps a go but I’ve never created a mandala before, unless you count Spirograph, so it will be interesting. Your designs just rolled off the pages, nice one!
I do like Mandlagaba but getting that base color to go back to white is a pain. It looks like it is white but when I had to transfer a copy to google docs I could see the slightest shading of my last color used. UGH! Sometimes when I get the background right where I want it, then my pen doesn't show lines because it is stuck on the lighter color as well. Ay yah yah!!! SMH but it takes time and patience to learn and it is fun. Not sure if I like creating them more or coloring them more lol. great comparison video info, thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Mam iam creating mandalas on FREE MANDALA MAKER the lines seems so ugly how to solve this? if i use digital tablet ,lines may turn nice look? may i create with this app mandala book? there is any problems will bother? please answer me MAM.
Hello, I'm experimenting with MandellaGraba. It was great fun drawing the pristine lines, but when it came to filling the shapes with color, it stopped filling after 8 goes. Is this a limitation? Do you know a way around this? Thanks. BTW, thanks for so much helpful info.
