What better way to put my loves in one place than to have a RU-vid channel. I love to sew and learn new things. Consider subscribing to see what I've been sewing, buying, and maybe what random thing I've learned recently.
Hi, Nina. Awww. Thank you so much. I really appreciate you watching. I wouldn’t really say it was 100% easy. There were some easy parts and some tricky parts. I made a video on it if you’re interested NEW LOOK MINI DRESS 👉🏽 AND IT IS MINI - NEW LOOK 6740 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-G8vcPZiD3qQ.html
Thank you so much. The top is Simplicity 8947. Here’s a video talking about the top. It used to be a dress. The video doesn’t show how the top is made, however. :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jRHnfooOUgA.html
I agree, all those garments you chose to keep are REALLY nice and I would have kept them too! I believe I had the Arlo Jacket by Friday pattern company and I love both jackets, but that faux leather is REALLY nice! I’ll have to check to see if I do have it on my computer. My hubby and I don’t ride our bikes out side as much as we should, but were on them recently when it was a bit cooler. That was TOO funny at the end, LOVED IT! ❤❤❤
Hiiiii, Myra. Awww. That’s so cool that you and your husband rode bikes recently. My husband and I don’t ride ours as much as we used to, so we really enjoyed going out for a little spin. lol. The Arlo jacket pattern is really a nice pattern. I wouldn’t mind making another one, but I need to wear the two I already have first. 😂 🤦🏽♀️ Thank you so much. :)
Thanks for sharing your fabric finds. I like the gingham and plaid. What plans do you have for them? I'm gonna have to get Upwards for the home. My husband and I play Wordfeud with the App.....let's just say if it was a board game..... I'd be putting it away 😅
Hi, Lynette. You are so welcome. I want to make a dress with the gingham and plaid, and maybe a top. I'll be sure to share what I come up with. Oh, my goodness, if you like word games, Upwords is a good one to have. So cool that you and your husband play Wordfeud. I've never heard of that app, but I will definitely look it up and see how it goes. So funny that you would be putting the game away if Wordfeud was a board game. That is too funny! I've actually put the game away my fair share too!!! Lol.
The light blue jumpsuit looks nice on you. I also admire the different sewing tools you use for your outfits. You have a nice amount of patterns to keep you occupied for minute. You do an amazing job, taking your time and seeing the joy you have in doing so. I can't wait to see how the light blue berda outfit turns out. Hope you receive your ring back soon, I know the feeling without my watch, I feel bare. I enjoyed the video, keep up the good work. Love❤. Aunt Irene 😊
Hey, auntie. Thank you so very much. The sheet really came in handy. Sewing tools really are so helpful and good to have. I actually do have a nice amount of patterns. I get so excited when new ones come out. Ooh, yeah. I can definitely see how not having your watch on can make you feel bare. Thanks for all your kind words. I always enjoy chatting with you. Love you much.
@@tanishalynne Hi, Tanisha. I think you are going to love this pattern. The pjs come out so nice, and I think you’ll look so classy lounging in this :) Thank you so very much.
Love that green fabric, I’m planning to make the shirt, not decided on fabric yet (probably denim!). Enjoying your videos, you are very talented and look so nice in your makes!
@@AndreaBooz-rf5dg Omg. Thank you so so much. I greatly appreciate your kind words. I fell hard for the green fabric. 😂 I loved it so much. I think this shirt pattern would look great in denim, and I think you’ll like this pattern. It’s a good one. Thanks for commenting and watching.
You make vintage look so trendy! I love both pieces, but that top is my favorite! ❤❤❤. What a wonderful fun family reunion! Looks like everyone was truly enjoying themselves! That’s such a blessing!
We had a great time at the reunion. It was so nice to get together for a happy occasion. Thank you so very much. The dress drew me to the pattern, and the top has been pairing well with high-waisted pants. I love that these vintage patterns are available. Thanks again.

I’ve been sewing for over 50 years, washable markers are genius for marking. I went straight to Walmart after watching your video. Markers and a hole much made very quick work marking fisheye darts in the 3 garments I was working on. Very cute dress. P.S. I also made this dress in the early 70s.
I love the washable markers for marking fabric. They work wonderfully, and I've never had an issue getting the marks to wash away. I have the thicker tipped markers and the thinner tipped ones. So glad you picked some up and it helped with your darts! That's great. Definitely worth having for sure!!! So cool that you made this dress in the 1970s. I love how these patterns are coming back around.
@@brendajefferson5984 Lol. 😂 Thank you so much. I was so excited when I saw the gingham fabric in the store. It’s one of my favorite fabrics to wear!!!
I remember this pattern and probably still have it with my older patterns. I made several versions in 1981 when I was pregnant and added some extra gathers at center front. It was super cute then and super cute today! Will have a rummage in my old pattern box and see if I can find it.
That is so cool. I’m picturing gathers at the center front. I bet that really is super cute. I love how these patterns are being re-released. So good that you may have held onto yours. I’ll have to make sure to do the same. The dress is my fave. :)
Thanks for sharing the details of sewing this pattern. I purchased it but didn’t have the confidence to sew it without a RU-vid sew along. Your dress and top look so cute! I’m inspired.
I’ve been watching your channel for sometime, however I have not heard you say your first name. What is your first name? I love your channel. You are a great instructor. You explain the various steps so clearly. I also love the “food” side of your videos. It appears that you eat very healthy meals. I guess that’s how you keep your weight in check and skin looking so healthy. 🌸🌸🌸
@@sharonlane2328 Hi, Sharon. So nice to chat with you. I’m Tee. Thank you for all of your kind words. I greatly appreciate the feedback. It’s most helpful. I’m so glad you love the food side of the videos. I enjoy sharing what I’m up to and what I’m cooking or eating. It’s fun. Thanks for taking the time to comment and for continuing to watch. So glad you’re here.
I too have made this dress. The difference is that I made it in the 1970s. It was the most comfortable garment I ever made. I'm planning on making it again soon. 😊
@@sslorah1932 Ohhh that is soooo cool that you made this dress in the ‘70s. I love that. It truly is a comfortable dress. I have been loving it. So glad you’re planning to make it again. I love how these vintage patterns are coming back around. :)
Lovely top and dress! I love the style of them. Your family reunion looked so nice. My youngest loves to eat and his eyes were bulging at the sight of the food layout 😂😂😂! Thanks for sharing!
Hey, Tee. Thank you so so much. So glad I was able to get these done before summer ended. Aww. So cute about your son’s eyes bulging at the food. Lol. Thank you for watching.
What an interesting video! Wow this will be a letter by the time I finish with my comment. The lavender jumpsuit you had on, you looked like a model doll, did it fit you perfectly!😊 The ruffled top was nice and so was the dress. I'm glad you enjoyed the reunion! But... how did your cabbage and chicken turn out? Then I would like to know, when you was putting your dress on the manican, the light brown dress you had on, did you make that? I also would like to know the dark green cargo pants you had on, were they ordered or you made them. I love cargo pants with deep pockets! You done an amazing job as always, I enjoyed watching, and keep up the amazing work. Love, Aunt Irene
Hi, there. Thank you so very much. I did enjoy the reunion. I had been looking forward to it for months, and it was a good time. Yes. I did make the brown dress I was wearing. I made it in denim fabric. I did make the cargo pants. I like deep pockets also. They can really come in handy. So glad you enjoyed the video. Warms my heart. Love you much.
