Like this video- where that college is extremely hard to get into and only the best get in compared to the US where the best schools actually discriminate against the best, with the most discriminated group being asian. The Supreme Court is currently hearing the case and hopefully this discrimination against Asians will be eliminated. I certainly hope so.

Students graduating from Fudan expecting 8-10k salary is compareable to Students graduating from Birmingham UK expecting 25-30k salary, mind you minumum wage in UK is nearer to 20k so is compareable to 5k or less in china.

Smartest is not necessary the best. Book smart people may not be a good fit. Innovative people aren't not necessary book smart and may actually be a better fit for companies.
