From the looks of it, it should be Melon juice with milk (and some jelly added?). Yes, super yummy and a great thirst quencher especially on a hot summer day.
The vendor had an accent! It's actually Jelly, and it is made from Gulaman (pronounced goo-lah-man) which is what it is- Jelly. Can't wait for you to try out our street foods! Edit: Also, "Buko" is tagalog for coconut!
@@dongdingdantes7406 nah in my perspective I think that’s cute not at all a thirst for international validation. Can’t we all just appreciate tourists without being kinda bitter??
Even though he doesn't say it entirely accurate, I can tell he tries his best to pronounce the words. As a Filipino I'am glad to have see some local and simple places around the Philippines get some of the spotlight. Awesome video :)) edit: excuse me for my poor grammar lol
I'm from Philippines, have fun exploring Philippines! Edit: Those drinks are really delicious, I love drinking those kinds of drinks in hot days especially in this summer its very hot🥵
the way he says "gulaman" and "buko" made me cry😭😭😭 jk but its really awesome how he went to philippines, theres a lot of traditional foods that i suggest you should try. Theyre really awesome!
This is what i love Travis Fein as a vlogger. He featured raw vlog in all his journey with no pretension. A real cowboy and so friendly with everyone he meets. He is the best vkogger i've ever known and he deserves a million subscribers. Btw, he was using an aussie words, i can rubbish? Haha. Filipinos dont understand that.
Hello Travis watching here. Nice to see you on your vlog. I like this guy..uncomplicated and always sooo friendly to the locals. Keep it up and always stay safe.Have fun in the Philippines.
I have to try the pink drink when we visit the Philippines! I think it's the one my husband has talked about from his childhood. Travis you are awesome! 🙂
As a Filipino, Then is a very nice vlog but, the way you said "Salamat". It has wrong pronunciation. You basically prolong the "a" after the "l". So, Sa-laa-mat
Hey travis i like your style on vlogging.. you interact well on the local people that you r visiting.. very down to earth.. take care.. enjoy ur stay in our beautiful country Philippines..😁👍👍👍
Hey Travis, glad ur having fun. Thought you'd like 2 know, Gulaman is pronounce as GOO-LA-MAHN, it's gelatin or jello. Buko is pronounce as BOO-KO juice s coconut meat string w/d juice. Greetings from California!! Have fun!!
It's the same everywhere you go in the Philippines everyone is so friendly. I will be sure to try that boku next time I'm there and it's so cheap, I think you guys should charge a little more for it. Travis is a nice down to earth guy and enjoys mixing with the locals. Good luck to you
>I think you guys should charge more for it They can't. Cheap prices = Cheap economy = cheap salaries It might be cheap from an outsider's perspective, but for most Filipinos, they'll find it difficult when street foods (that are supposed to be cheap)become more expensive, as most of the people that buy it are people somewhere a bit above minimum wage.
your content travis is so interesting for filipinos becuase alot of doin in philipenes but il just want to know can you rate stuff and other interested in phillipenes?
It looks like a very special drink, I don't know how it feels, you really make to want to try, thank you for sharing! 看起來很特別的飲料,不知喝起來感覺如何,好想喝喝看, 謝謝分享!👍😃👏
Am really enjoying your vlogs. So down-to-earth, raw, unfiltered, just what-you-see- is-what-you-get kind of vlogging. Btw Travis, coconut juice is spelled and pronounced as buko [BOO-koh] juice, not boku juice. Just thought you should know, mate. Have a good one! 😁
This vlogger definitely i follow.. the way to interact people so natural. And not even destructed by local yelling hello. In the camera.. good job sir.. some blogger cut they doing while distracted.. keep it up sir..
The market you're walking through used to be muddy and smelly, but nowadays due to better government you walk through a cleaner and better tacloban, nest of luck in your travels brother. I believe I saw you vlogging while shopping for veg.
This is what I like about you Travis machan ! You are not afraid to try new different drinks or food. Great to see you enjoying street delicacies and mingling with the locals. 😌❤ stay safe Travis and api yamu 🙏❤
