The skin market is wayyy to big for them to not implement CS skins into a new game. If they ever decided to make a new game, they will most likely implement current skins into the new one. They would lose out on way to much money, and the community would riot.

If another were to come into the game the person who has it now have two choices... quick sell a knife for life changing money or hold onto this rare gem and watch its price increase over time... the price will only go as high as a buyer is wishing to pay and if no one wishes to sell then those prices can get to the galaxy and back.
