Omg, thank so much. I scratch my hands up so bad fluffing the tree! I don’t know why I didn’t think of it but now I know, and knowing is half the battle!
I just made about 5 wreaths for my windows outside to hang them on. Made each one with a 6 foot tinsel garland, foam wreath form, the plastic ornaments 12 pack (2-3 on each) and a bow from the smaller 2 pack sets they have. So for less than $3 each I made them. Now my windows will be dressed up. I also used the plastic bells and rope garland to make new hanging outdoor decorations
You are unreal. You keep coming up with more ideas - I love ALL your vids. I hot glue gunned zip ties to my brick this year and hung garland around my door. THANK YOU!!!! I love it!

I just had to pop in and say thanks for the hot glue on the brick idea. I worked for weeks on handmade gingerbread/candy decorations for outside. A windstorm came and blew it down. I was determined and took the glue gun (and extension cord out and hot glued the garland around my door to the bricks with zip ties. That bugger didn't move! I took the down today and all the glue and zip ties came right off! Thanks.for the awesome tip! Donna T in WV.
Teachers in Florida taught me to hot glue command hooks. Genius it works awesome. I used the command hook with the metal hook so if I need to twist wire into it
Fantastic decorating ideas! I too live in Texas and appreciate the advice on how to hang items on brick. My favorite piece was the Christmas light tree in your yard.

I have a blank limestone wall on the outside of my house, but I will never commit to a spot for my husband to drill a screw for decor! I am totally trying that hot glue/zip tie trick! All Great and practical projects, as usual!!! Thank you!!

I live in the Chicago land area and used your hack on my brick last year and it worked out perfectly 👍. However, I used Chanel stems instead of zip ties.
My Dollar Tree doesn't have a plethora of anything! The Christmas shelves are already almost bare. I wish ours was as well stocked as yours. Everything looks great!!

If the Christmas tree is artificial and the branches are narrow, you need not use garden ties to keep the burlap ribbon garland in place. Gently fold a branch over the ribbon along its length as you go. When it comes time to remove it, the garland can just be pulled off. This also makes it easy to adjust the placement of your ribbon.
Always so many great ideas. I laughed because I noticed that I commented twice on a video, from last year and am actually using the star ornament ideas this year. Just so you know, your videos are always on my first to watch for holidays. Even more than once.
Absolutely love the tree. I like the lights and stuff too, but I like things to be simple. One of my favorite trees was a wire tree. It was supposed to be for the yard. It looked like a tree skeleton. I was a trunk and branches; all lighted. The ornaments looked so nice on it. We moved and my husband failed to go into the attic for the Christmas decorations.
