I didn't know about the snap together ornaments, I am racking my brain about how to put a picture of each grandkids picture in with a Christmas scene for when I have the kiddos over for craft with Nana day. They can then give to mom and dad for a Christmas present. Thanks for the idea, friend!

I am so excited for Christmas this year. I cannot put my tree up until after Thanksgiving dinner. I always want to, but growing up, my dad was adamant that we be thankful first. Since he passed in 2001, everytime I think that I will put my tree up early, I hear his voice "we have to be thankful first". This year I am doing rustic/diy ornaments and red and black Buffalo check. I made garland out of twine, wood beads, and dollar tree snowflake ornaments... so cute. I also have had MANY great ideas from tour channel, this year in particular, for ornaments. So excited to see them all on my tree this year.

I love getting the decorating done as early in November as I possibly can! I use a lot of earth tones. Gold. I made ornaments twenty-seven years ago, out of material. Red & cream stripes. Blue & cream. Gave snowmen pom pom hats,, I glued buttons on them. I worked really hard with a 2 year old and 9 month old running around my house. I will never get sick of these ornaments! 😄

These turned out so good! My favorites are the floral wire bell wreath (Im gonna do green bells and red ribbon), the berry holly ball, the vase fill clear ornament, and the pick/berries/pine cones clear ornament! They all look so classy and add some visual interest without being tacky. I looooove them!

Absolutely stunning ideas there! Last year I used the clear snap in half ornaments to display photos of family and friends on the tree, added ultra fine glitter in the colour scheme of the year and they came out so cute that this year all my friends want their own ones. We always pick two colours per year and then only decorate in those last year was red and gold, this year blue and silver.

Oh man, I am gonna save this video and come back and make every single one of these! I am adding a tree to my entryway this year and was thinking of only using handmade decorations on it... and BAMN! You put the perfect video out! Thanks lady 😁 I normally put my tree and all decorations up a week before Thanksgiving... its been family tradition for generations. But 2020 sucked so bad I am dying to do it early this year... I think we could all use the extra joy and Christmas cheer!

I always decorate and put up my tree the day after Thanksgiving. I'm not changing for 2020 like many are doing. I find that while I LOVE everything looking Christmasy I have to not keep it up too long as I grow tired of it and the next year I have a harder time with the process of actually getting it up. Keeping it "short" keeps me excited. My style: I tend to be more elegant with decorations in the living room and more whimsical elsewhere. Outside I love tons of lights - not in a throw them on kind if way but across eaves and roof line, around windows, threaded through trees and bushes all in white, red and green.

When our kids were little, they collected shells and beach sand from near our home and we filled clear ornaments w them for grandparent gifts. Ribbon on top. Glued the sides. Also had them take glue and make designs on clear ornaments and then rolled them in colored snow or glitter
