I immediately recognized it lmaoo. I used to use it from 2015 to 2020-ish which is close to when I finally got the real Minecraft. :) And honestly, this laptop is all too relatable. My old computer was also Windows 7 and ran at 20 fps. 😭

@@eqyped yea its just that i was so confused for so long he just kinda ignored that it was saying the drivers were incompatible with opengl and just kept trying to change different things. maybe its just the way the video was put together but he seemed a bit like he knew nothing

naw bro. It had ONE CPU with 1 core @ 2.2 ghz. Literally an unusable machine. I have gotten minecraft to run on 20 dollar chromebooks with a stable 55-60 FPS (100% playable) using mx linux on a draw distance of 8, which is actually pretty impressive if I have to say so myself for the dollar spent

Linux ≠ Fast Clearly that laptop has shit hardware, and trust me Linux does not make the laptop any faster. Maybe a tiny little bit faster, but at that point, just upgrade the components.

@@rumenjanro you're so wrong it's funny. Modern hardware you notice it less but Linux takes almost zero system resources, it does make older hardware a TON faster

I had a thinkpad that ran Minecraft horribly on Windows, and ran it wonderfully on Ubuntu. This is the way.

@@Roblocksgaming someone had recommended me to get it for a video, I was too dumb to do the research. Also, the reason I got a copyright strike was because some guy thought I had stolen his video, and he reported mine to get my channel taken down for theft. Apparently RU-vid decided that I hadn't stolen his video after all (because I hadn't) but they still gave me a strike anyway for playing a cracked version, even though I didn't show the download process or home screen.
