Hello Olivia and friends 💕 I'm reorganizing today..yay! Anyhoo.....those collapsible bins, the (window pane) can be made more structured by putting cardboard in the bottom and sides! My son played baseball from age 5 all the way through college. After all that he and I had a lot of tee shirts. They took up so much space. So one Christmas I had a quilt made for him out of all of them! It’s a great gift!

Seeing the selection at your Dollar Tree makes my envious... we just were blessed with a Dollar Tree about a year ago and they just don't have the space for that kind of inventory. Plus it's so unique for our area that it's picked clean quickly. Hoping some day they can move to a larger space so we can enjoy that level of selection!

Instead of buying tons of tags I bought a roll of chalkboard tape. It looks like a roll of black duct tape. Craft stores and Walmart have it. It’s about 7-10 dollars a roll. I’ve made over 100 labels with it and still have plenty. It’s reusable as well, so lessons waste.

Hello Olivia. Looking Lovely in the Leopard & Eyelashes! Don't use the DT chalk pens ! Go to WalMart or Target instead. Better quality for just a little more $. I did not like the DT one at all. I love those bins for organizing & actually get lots of paper stuff at the DT, tags & stickers & the like. I have been seeing the plastics & Easter Decor /Candy & Spring Flowers already & bought a lot. I made 4 wreaths in the last 2 weeks & got some teapot & mini Fairy Garden Figurines in pkgs. & Ribbon. Good morning Olivia. I am like you. I have to shop on budget. I am a single mom. I can’t afford Target, Dollar General, and Walmart organization products. Those stores organize bins and totes are too expensive for me. Especially when you need over 3 bins and totes. I thank God for Dollar Tree stores. It has quality and beautiful products at an affordable price. I am loving the products Dollar Tree store are carrying this year. A week ago you did Dollar Tree Huge Spring products video. It motivated me to get closet and craft area organize. I did my closet, it look so beautiful with Dollar Tree bins. Did you know Dollar Tree carry Energy efficient lightbulbs soft light and daylight light bulbs for only a dollar wow! At Walmart for LED light 💡 your pay $4.97 (store brand) for 4 bulbs a pack = $1.25 a bulb. At Dollar Tree you pay only $1.00 and for 4 bulbs = $4.00 just FYI. Thank you for sharing your diy video. You continue to stay safe and stay strong 💪🏽.

I just did this in my closet, almost all with things I already had and some new things from DT. I used their gray spring bins and their faux marble shelf liner and it looks BEAUTIFUL. Target, Ikea, and Ross are some of my other big go-to stores for bins, and Walmart for my airtight food containers. Michaels is GREAT for baskets when they do the sales with 40-50% off everything! I paid about $15 for two big, beautiful water hyacinth baskets with lids that are on my bathroom shelves, and they hide extra toilet paper and some of my extra essential oils and overflow things.

Hi I love Dollar Tree bins and those cloth cubies. In my bedroom my dresser and the matching shelving unit on each side is 10 feet long. In each of the shelves I can put 10 cubbies. Since my furniture is dark Cherry the browns cubbies look really nice. The shelving units are deep enough that I can store a years supply of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and so forth behind the cubbies. Since I keep my T shirts, socks and other clothing items in the cubies and are pulling them in and out all the times I re-enforced them. What I did was to take black foam core board from Dollar Tree for this purpose. Using the removable bottom piece from the cubby I used it as a template on heavier cardboard. . I cut out one bottom pieces from foam board. I then put the bottom form board piece inside a cubby and measure how tall the inside wall of the cubby was. Then cut out 40 of those for front and back walls. Then I cut out 40 that was smaller so they would fit between the front and back walls. With the drop from cutting out the walls I made bottom pieces. It usually took 2 pieces to make up a bottom piece. I glued the bottom pieces together with Allene's tacky glue. Then I re-enforced the bottom seams by running down the seam with clear packing tape. I assembled the 4 walls together using glue and black duct tape to make the wall joints stronger. Then I glued the 4 wall assembled unit on top of the bottom piece and duct taped the under side.. Once I had one of these finished I slipped it inside the cubby. All the taped was hide inside the cubby. This has made them more like drawers. I made the re-enforcements a little at a time when I felt like making them. Just stored the 3 different size templates away so I could always have them and make more inside units as needed. I had purchased cubbies that cost a lot more than the ones from Dollar Tree and they were not any better than the DT ones.. .

I love so many of your crafts and this organizing project is interesting. Since I live on social security, I always go to DT first and Walmart next. I live in a small rural village and don't have a Target or other stores nearby. Thank you for sharing your talents with us.

Olivia, Your closet looks fantastic. I am glad dollar tree, dollar general, and family dollar have stepped up with items that look good and on an affordable budget. Another go to of mine is Five and Below. I was actually able to find bins that you can slide a label in and got two for five. Since this pandemic has started I've been taking one section of my room at a time. I have done master closet, two kids closets, my baking cupboard, my kitchen cabinet pantry, kitchen drawers so far. I just take one little space at a time and love the feeling once it's done. Along with this I have done some crafts as well.

I am hoping my local Dts soon get these containers. I prefer these colors to the bold ones they previously carried. I have been hunting for the fleece buffalo check scarves the past few winters, but to no avail. I did manage to find 2 containers similar to the black ones you used, but mine are white with slim black lines. I need a few more and have gone to a few other DTs but none have arrived yet. That’s right uplift someone’s day everyday love it . I’ve been hunting for moss all I can find is reindeer moss so I got that but I ended up buying a big bag from Walmart mart . You can find the clear containers at idesign on Amazon, or their website. Much less expensive than the Container Store.

WHAT I DID WITH SOME SPECIAL CLOTHES FROM MY KIDDOS WHEN THEY WERE YOUNG, I SAVED THEM AND GAVE THEM TO THEM FOR THEIR KIDDOS AND TOOK PICTURES WITH THEM WEARING THEM ALSO AT WHATEVER AGE. 😁 THE OTHER THING IS I HAVE VELVET HANGERS (NOT VERY EXPENSIVE AT ROSS OR DEE DEES) CLOTHES DO NOT SLIP OFF OF THEM.I HAVE THE ROSE PINK WITH GOLD HAMGERS. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL. YOUR SPACES LOOK SO NICE. GOD BLESS YO OLIVIA. 💕

When I was younger I I would use the milk crates. and stack them when I didn't have a dresser when I was youngerit is nice to go to the Dollar store and not spend so much that is totally cool I love the dollar store Dollar tree whichever one it is you know it feels good when you can maintain and organize makes you feel so much better you are absolutely beautiful inside and out God bless you and your family

I have to say that recently I pulled out a trash bag's worth of clothes from my closet for donation. The next time I opened the closet it was refreshing to not be rifling through clothes I don't wear. I had clothes that I love at my fingertips.

Right after your last DT haul I was able to go to the DT (it's 24 miles away from me) to look for some of the storage items you showed. They had not put any of their colorful bins out yet, but tucked away by the mops and brooms were those cute gray and pink cloth boxes- Yipee I was so excited because they were on my list. Ever since I started watching DIY videos I have been looking for the lace doilies. My DT still does not have them (sigh). Living out in the country we have a lot of dust that sneaks in everywhere so when my closet was remodeled I bought a bunch of the clear plastic DT shoe boxes and the larger ones at Walmart to put everything in that was on my shelves. I totally organized my craft room and closet but im not happy with the top of my closet...so im hoping some of this will work for me. My house is small as well and storage room is always a problem! Lol

I have my kids sports and camp shirts. Put them in a vacuum seal bag - one day going to have a quilt made for each kid with their shirts.

I was forced to clean my closet a couple of years ago because the rack fell of the wall! It made such a racket in the middle of the night that the dog barked and I thought someone was trying to break in. Still have a little to finish in there.
