Great idea using the jugs; harder to open the better. I'm starting a 52 week challenge January 1st. I have two safes well hidden, one easier to find with not much, the other were I keep my cash savings ($1,000 by the end of this year). Have one bank account for things like property taxes. My debt is down to $548.00 to a credit card and $1,334, on my mortgage. I'm very cheap so half my Social Security goes to the mortage. Next year, I will feel RICH. I'm 73, never too late.

I’m a new adult and The schools really don’t teach this stuff about paying bills and being financially knowledgable. “Having a savings” is definitely in the top 5 essentials for me as an adult.

I’ve started up a business and I have made $1,200 in like 4 years. I’m 11 so for me that’s huge. I have also been saving for 4 years.

So happy I seen this video, I’m a part-time retail associate and get paid biweekly. My personal bills are under $300 a month due to not having to pay rent, I’m 19, my boyfriend and I have been living together for two years now in a family home. Currently working on building my credit score, and saving for a car. This just got me pumped to save money! Currently trying to save $100 per pay check so $200 a month♥️♥️

For those that are wondering how much she did every week it rounds out to $60 every week for 52 weeks. So you could do $10 everyday of the week besides 1 of the 7 days. Its honestly not a bad idea. If your a beginner I would definitely recommend starting with the $5 challenge. I feel like if I would of started with $10 my fingers would of been dipping in the pot a lot lol.

You did better than I did, I gave my self a budget of $200 savings every paycheck equal to $400 a month. I have 2 kinds of budget, 1 for spending and the other for savings.

This is the first video I’ve seen of yours and had to subscribe! I’m a server and using the cash envelope method is no longer working for me (over the last month, I’ve gotten a car so my life routine has changed and I have additional expenses popping up that I didn’t have without a car, plus my work schedule has changed, so it’s no longer as efficient as it was before). I’ve been considering going back to my system I had years ago where I put certain denominations aside in a jar to help me save, and this video has assured me that that is what I need to try next.
