You should DEFINITELY make more videos of nosebleed stakes from the golden age of online poker. Hearing your thought process during this time (and prior to Black Friday!) would be a treasure trove of content. Thanks for the video!

Agree 100%, love watching the old hands and seeing how much the theory/way hands are played has changed

Maybe some of your live Hold Em hands Phil? If Poker Go will let you use the footage, Lex has been doing something similar.

Great stuff as always! Seeing you delve into old-school play is always interesting. Particularly enjoyed watching what I believe to be some of your mid-session adjustments during in these.

Thanks Phil, that was a really fun throwback. Especially for someone like me, that used to play around that time. Hopefully there are more videos like this.

Glad to see you switch it up with the content. Loved the Top 5/Advice style videos but at least for me they were getting a bit stale. I know there's lots of value to them and filled with great advice, especially for strategy but from an entertainment standpoint they can be a bit repetitive.

Great stuff! Would be nice if you could go a little slower, especially on the tricky hands. Sometimes it's hard to follow the action, and you've moved on to a new hand before the old hand has really registered. Thanks!

Great stuff Phil! Amazing to think that the crushers of 500/1k couldn’t beat a 2/5zoom pool now. Back then it was 7figure a year skill bc machine learning has showed us Nash equilibrium.

Great videos but what do the percentage mean when the hands are not shown ? Is it the probability of winning the hand against any 4 cards ? Thanks !

These are awesome, more please! It's ok to go through the hands fast, but could you try to give more analysis once the pot is awarded (before moving to next hand)? Some of those, we barely get to see who even won the pot on the river. Overall, these are great.

thanks for sharing Phil. First video I had to watch on 0.75 speed in full. A bit to fast of playing the action but it was not a problem. It would be great to se also some 6max railheaven hands. Especially the mental aspect of it , having this huge money swings. Did you have a stop loss? What was you biggest loosing day and how you dealt with that.

Every adaption seems to be a more passive approach. Not sure if it’s the computers or your evolution but I always thought aggression heads up was never a huge mistake. U say bet less or check more seems counter intuitive to me. I preferred the old omgclay mindset of the j4 4 bet any 2 cards 6 max approach to check more bet less 2023 style. Surely if you employ this nifty passive style you need to do it “with moves” light chk raises 3 bets and river bluffs imo.
@Mike-hb4qz
@Mike-hb4qz Год назад
The more passive approach on early streets leads to more aggression on later streets, so it's not nittier just that the aggression is more creative than just bet bet bet
