Black folks always have a poor man’s mentality unfortunately. Me personally I’m coming to Ghana 🇬🇭 to thrive not to barely survive. I can barely survive here in America, but I’m sure it’s extra stressful in Africa to barely survive. Me personally I want a $300 dollar a week lifestyle in Ghana 🇬🇭. Like you said comfort, who wants to come across seas to live uncomfortable??? Not me, I want to go out and have fun and eat what I want as well. That’s why I’m following your blueprint to a T. I won’t leave America till I’m bringing in at least 12000 Ghana cedis per month. Other wise I’m staying in America. I appreciate the free game you giving out fam be blessed.

Some of us Love Africa more than having 300 dollars a week. Do you ...its not poor mentality..100 dollars a week is quite ample. Own house, borehole, solar panels. planted fruit and foods. We fairly self sufficient here in Ghana 🇬🇭
@Worldtraveler1984
@Worldtraveler1984 7 месяцев назад
@@elaineleslie3006 I love Africa but honestly it’s not about love, it’s about being smart and fanatically capable. I to have a house I built from scratch in Sunyani. I to have a borehole and a 16 acre coconut 🌴 farm that matures in 3 and a half years but that still does stop me from going to Ghana 🇬🇭 over prepared vs being under prepared. Like the brother said, you have to be able to save as well.

Thanks a lot for understanding bro. This is very comfortable. I definitely didn’t come here to barely get by. I want to thrive comfortably. If not I could have stayed in America. If I’m riding and I see a peace of furniture I like, I want to buy it, not think about buying it 😂

The trick is to get a house, car and u good .. if u got those 2 assets in gh u can live comfortably with 100$ a week= 1000cedis + assuming u not going to those overpriced establishment that charge 300cedis for banku or Waakye but if u living normal lifestyle u live peaceful and comfortable and avoid living in Accra…
@webelonginafrica44
@webelonginafrica44 7 месяцев назад
Yes Accra is the killer of money. If a person can avoid Accra your money can go a long ways. A house and a car is ideal and you can definitely survive off of 1000 a week as a single person.

I lived on $1000 a month and i had to go to restaurants, clubs, and ride in only bolts and Ubers multiple times a week to spend that amont. Once you travel less, use tro tro, limit going out to 1-2x a week, and eating a local restaurants instead of the expensive ones $1000 a month with becomes next to impossible. Did $300 a month with GF and it was almost comfortable. $300 single is comfortable.

$300 a week anywhere in the Accra/kumasi metropolis is not a lot. Ghana is getting expensive. For a local person yeah but if you moving from the west and want to live comfortably, $300/week will be moderate. My opinion

I'm in Ghana at the moment and even though the exchange rate is in my favour, I have managed to run through my money in record time!! Lol. But it is possible to live quite cheaply in Ghana on 100 cedis a day. I'm having to do that now to ensure I have enough money to keep myself for the rest of my stay. Hey, I recognise that high rise in the background as I pass it most days on the La Road and have seen it while on the beach. I heard it was structurally unsafe but I just wondered if it was a case of another incomplete building which is littered all over Accra?
@webelonginafrica44
@webelonginafrica44 7 месяцев назад
Yes I heard that it was built unsafe as well then the owner died before even trying to fix the problem that I think was impossible. I think this is one of the biggest buildings I’ve seen here. It was a massive project gone to waste. Not just a huge eyesore. It’s nothing they can even use it for now. 😔
