Nick is - in my humble opinion - probably the most educational & entertaining trader on RU-vid. Being a young & aspiring trader that he is as well as being surrounded by others who I assume are about the same generation as him, his contents are both educational & "memeful" to watch lol! I am a beginner trader and honestly this channel has taught me A LOT. However, not in terms of chart reading, but more on the Trading Psychology part. Thanks a lot Nick!

I have been trading for about 6 months now and just about every trade backfires and slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points . I try to do top down analysis but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless, any advice for a struggling trader?
Your problem could be your stop loss is too close or you're watching your trades too much. Place it and walk away. Or you could just give up, trading isn't for everyone.

@@brandoncolon418 You're correct, I don't lose money every single trade, but my main problem is trying to let my runners run. Very rarely do I catch big moves . Instead they go a few pips in my direction, then go against me if when I try holding them. Also my entries could use a lot of improvement. A mentor would be amazing, but getting one is easier said than done. If it's not too much to ask, do you know any legit ones?
@@deloriaenterprise744 I know of one lady though, she is not a mentor per-se, but she is freakishly good at trading. From what I've gathered she used to work for a proprietary firm till she retired. Met her at one of those conferences, got to know her and we exchanged emails. Since she helped me, I've been making about $1000 bi-weekly. What I'm trying to say is the 5% of traders in the world that are consistently profitable are not on RU-vid, they are just random/lowkey people no one even expects . Her name was Laura woods by the way.

I have a 100 usd account. Although I like your videos I would like for you to do a 100 usd challenge with proper lot sizes and all. You are a better trader than me so it would be nice for me to at least see what is possible. I am building this small account as you can imagine very slowly but help me out here. Hi Nick.. I'm planning to trade with an account for $1500. I want to use a leverage of 1:100 and have 5 trades daily with 0.05 lots. The goal is to trade only Gold, with a daily target of $100 max. Do you think it is a good strategy. Will be using H4 and 15min time frames strategy also. Please advise if you think it's risk manageable. If not $1500 I can push it to $2000.
With all due respect sir, I have traded 100 dollars accounts and be able to flip it to 1000 dollar in 3 months .. So yeah it's doable.... But not with currencies as it can take forever to even make another 100 dollars but with synthetic indeces it's so possible because of tight spread and not affected by world news.

Took an 11% loss today and it didn't really hurt my account but the max I'm willing to lose in a day is 6% between multiple trades. So today was a overall red day for me. But the fact I'm beginning to focus more on the percentages tells me I'm moving in the right direction

Idk if it's beginners luck my I've opened alot of demos and consistently made $100 perday from a $200 account with 1:200 leverage ( for more positions) with and average lot size of 0.05

Do this again but trade silver!!!! I have flipped 100$ accounts to 2k 12 hrs 2 weeks in a row on silver alone. It was not smart but I was just sure about it. Idk if hugosway spread would allow it tho with 5000 contract. Ik osprey has them as low as 2 points at time so very reasonable. But silver is the best lottery ticket you can buy with $100
dude, first of all you took a trade on a major level of resistance. You brought the market after there were 7 rejections on that level, which makes me question your ability to trade. it was a very obvious down trend which you should have sold the market at that level.
You and Will should compete to see who can grow a $100 account to $500 the fastest. Small account traders know that elevated risk is needed initially, but nobody will ever dig into the topic and discuss what percentage of elevated risk would grow the account quicker.
@@TraderNick not quickly, just quicker than Will. Still exercise risk management and good judgment, but just on the racey side of things to give you the edge over Will. Likewise for Will.
Unfortunately i learnt the hard way i traded a 2 lot on gold on a 1500 account and pretty much blew it. Lots of lessons to be learnt and no it wasnt a demo

Setup a demo account for 100 dollars. Give me the username and password. 2 weeks I'll have it between 1000 to 2000 USD. As far as this video...umm, no. What exactly was the purpose? Even just for fun, it had no value to it.
Honestly man, I think you’re gonna shock yourself and actually make some profit on this account. You got the skill, just implement them correctly. And maybe dial down the position sizes. And trade more currency pairs rather than indices. And also, for the future videos, try to catch a fundamental announcement, that could be interesting. All the best to you and Will.

The fact that you're making fun of it makes it really hard for me to have that mindset that you are passing a message of warning on how new and small traders should trade rather I fell like you're mocking 😔.
