Thanks for the honest review! Can further expand the fast food 🇸🇬 vs 🇲🇾 comparison with McD, A&W, Burger King etc… just curious which brand has the best consistency in taste 😄
Being a fast food lover and had lived in both countries - SG's versions of BK and Carl's Jr burgers are superior to the MY versions. The portion, the taste of Malaysian BK & Carl's Jr burgers just not that good
Oh ya. Cempedak is not jackfruit actually. Jackfruit we called it Nangka and Cempedak is Cempedak. The shape of the cempedak fruit looks awfully similar to jackfruit but the taste as you and your team described, it has that jackfruit-y and durian-y taste to it. I think you surely can find them in Singapore too. Perhaps fruits Mukbang bro
Its mostly because they use chilled chicken directly from farm in morning, rather than fresh frozen chicken though - this is probably due to import etc
The chicken in Singapore is exactly the same chicken in Malaysia, same farm same supplier, the difference is that the chicken is chilled, not frozen, during delivery to Singapore and during storage.
Imagine going all the way to Malaysia just for KFC (with a sea view). Hahaha! Everything looks so gooooood though (except the seemingly dry breast meat) and kudos to you for 'destroying' everything, including the poor machine that kenna jammed by your huge order and the large wanton mee afterwards. X D
Zermatt Thank You Very Much to You and Your Production Team for Creating so many Awesome Contents ! I found your videos only recently ! I Love Your Channel 😍 Watching You Eat the Chicken plus Nasi Lemak + Mash Potatoes makes me wanna go JB to try them too !!!
Hi! have you ever tried KFC in Thailand? Some Malaysian guys mentioned that the KFC here has performed a better taste. Now Thailand has fewer restrictions to enter. Hope you can come to Thailand again to try and enjoy our food.. ^^
People like McDonald’s nasi lemak too. I still can’t get over the amount of food u can stuff in your body. Why can’t u share more with the crew ? Like your content !
Saw you once at Johor Jaya Pasar Malam. Dare not to interrupt you while you were shooting. Please do visit Taman Mount Austin, Eco palladium, or Eco botanic. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants which brings you a completely different vibes as compare to what you guys had in Singapore. These are the places we all locals will visit everyday. Don't just focus on town area.
This outlet in Stulang about 7-15mins drive from customs depends on traffic. There is also another Korean BBQ steamboat place just 5mins away(the lady boss looks so young and is damm pretty but she has kids already...lolx). The boss looks very Korean manly Oppa kind, which my female friends was like wah so yandao....somewhat thirsty for a man.
I'm Malaysian and I've never tried the KFC in Singapore so I can't compare.. but I've definitely heard from many non-Malaysians that Malaysia's KFC is particularly good...? Not sure in what way though?? haha. (But one thing's for sure, KFC in the UK is terrible, and I'm sure even Singapore's KFC would be way better than UK's). You're missing my favourite side dish though: the potato wedges with cheese
@@ZermattNeo oh no, they forgot to serve you the cheesy wedges ?! That's a crime 😤. Haha, nope im in Malaysia now. I just stayed in the UK for 3 years to study :)
I know what you mean, kfc in Australia is so terrible. I never tried kfc in Malaysia but I sure miss kfc in singapore. A Malaysian place in Australia tried to pass off fried jackfruit as fried cempadak, it was so gross, only cempadak can be fried.
the KFC in Msia taste better cos it's cheaper by 3 times! everything also taste better when it's cheap cheap cheap! good job Msia currency.. go lower, we eat more.
went to sg a little while back, and the chickens in the hawker center are not fresh they are frozen chicken 😅. also yes, the nasi lemak in sg is like a plain regular white rice dont have that 'lemak' element. not to say all hawker center la, but some of them.
When I eat chicken I don't even leave the bone marrow nor soft crunchy bones at the top and bottom of the chicken leg ❤️ .. I feel really dissatisfied when mukbangers leave those aside what a waste !!
Zermatt ur pretty lucky most of the items in the menu were available at the time of filming... Some stores here had items out of stock including the chicken or even nuggets and wedges
Sea view + KFC + Zermatt giant eating = Perfect!! N when the producer write share a large wanton noodle, normally will be Zermatt 3/4, producer 1/4 hahaaa
Wow!!! not easy to eat in the hot sun, u look like u are very sweaty while eating 😂 辛苦了!Overall still fun to look at u eat 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I have to agree Msia KFC taste much better compare to the one in SG!
I believed Malaysia KFC taste better because they got better R&D team here. I tried SG, Indonesia, Thailand and Korea KFC, none is as good as Malaysia one. You definitely have to try Mcdonald's in Malaysia, the spicy fried chicken and nasi lemak is really good.
This KFC restaurant looks new? I do agree Msia KFC chicken is nicer than SG. They are less greasy and original is crisper. I like that their set do comes with butter rice or does it still have it? I still remember they served soft buns in SG but they abolished decades ago (nostalgic feel!)
Cempedak (pronounced as Chiam Pee Duck) is not the same fruit as jackfruit. They are smaller than jackfruit, hence the taste and smell profile are different as well.
@@khoo5199 I guess we are of different dialect group. It is essentially a Malay word. Dialect group tend to use pasar melayu, so there are many variation. I do speak Bahasa Indonesia. I guess your pronunciation is more accurate 👍
