Anyone who collects knows the work involved. I have been collecting for 42 years, I got the point where I would give away the stuff I don't keep. Due to having just too much stock. So kids are a great out let for your extra cards please give a kid some cards.

I'm curious how they transitioned the database from the old (I assume manual paper lists) into digitalized ones. Did they manually enter millions of existing cards into the new modern database?

WOW, and then some ! I was bogged down last night trying to come up with the best method to finally inventory all my cards. I got down because the process is so slow. This motivated me to just do it. I am starting with rookies, then moving to autographs and then inserts, 2nd & 3rd year big names. and then base cards. That way I figure I can get through it easier, from top value down to cheapest. Fantastic idea for your video !!!!

Good Lord! I have a few of those white boxes loaded with 1000's of complete sets of Topps, Upper Deck, Donruss, Fleer & Ultra's. All from the 1960's, 70's & 80's. I bought them from a millionaire estate sale & I have no clue what to do with them! lol

this place actually SUCKS ... they put up photos of perfectly centered mint cards then send you a totally off centered card with dinged corners. they dont ship in a top loader. then they ignore your messages when you message them.

This interview was super boring, not your fault, you just walked into a library with a lot of cheap books. He has 2 million cards with 20x duplicates. How many of those cards are worthless? Most. That’s not to say that there aren’t valuable cards there but he didn’t show any. The boxes you randomly checks had nothing good at all. All the boxes and racks make it look like more than it is. I’ve seen 40 million cards and they could fit down just one of those aisles. Which means most of those boxes aren’t close to being full. Also none of the cards has sleeves which tells you their value and probably their condition. His advice was silly

I get the whole idea about making easy on you by going by Beckett prices, but their prices are high. Why would I spend money there if I can get it cheaper on eBay from someone else? You can't make offers with them, so how does it work? You just hope some dummy overpays?

Much love and respect to Rob and everyone at Burbank he is an OG. The reality though is COMC has about 4X the amount of listings on EBay that Burbank does. At the time of me typing this Burbank has 2.4 million listings on EBay and COMC has 8.9 million.
