Love love love this idea! I was thinking, can you do a whole room from Goodwill?? I loved your goodwill videos and I think it would fun to see furniture you can from there!
Totally! Mia is so so so amazing at what she does... Mia gave me the inspiration to start my channel... unfortunately it only has 3 subscribers :( but that is why I am doing a channel launch as soon as possible! So if you want to go subscribe so you don't miss it. I also have some pretty funny videos from when I was younger and inconsistent with youtube... to see them just go to the videos screen!
I was thinking the same thing... but if you watch her video where her parents surprised her by decorating her room, they say that she always said she’d get around to decorating it and never did so they did it for her. So I think that may be the unofficial part 4 🤷🏼♀️
@@sunstripe85 I don't have a car, so I can only go to places I can walk to. I used to be able to get to dollar general, but not anymore. I moved. And now I can only get to a dollar tree. Personally, I strongly dislike dollar tree. Yes everything is only a dollar, but the quality of their stuff suffers. I miss my dollar general! Great prices, AND great inventory. I've noticed that since I've moved, there are a lot of items I can't even get at dollar tree. So I have no other choice but to buy the rediculously overpriced things at tops (right next to DT).
I dont think i can say how much i love your mum. She is so lovely and always helping with your videos and ideas. She lets your creativity flow and grow!!
I loved this video!!! I think it would be cool to next do a kitchen/ bathroom decor video comparing 2 stores like Homegoods, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Burlington, Ross, etc (you know those stores that sell stuff for a cheaper price than regular stores) lol! love your videos
When your account isn’t drained anymore could you do a comparison of maybe organization stuff from Ikea VS Target or the container store? If you have that in mind for your house I’d love to see it
Nicole Statler why would she return it? The reason she did this is because she actually needed to buy furniture for that room so she decided to just make a video out of it.
I love interior decorating! It’s so much fun lol I’m obsessed 😭❤️ love your videos!!! Edit: Wayfair’s stuff are so cute! The Map picture is EVERYTHING! 🙌
Omg I love when you do this type of content. When the title came up I knew I was going to love it😍 More house renovation and home themed videos please 😊 I'm following you from the other side of the world, also english isn't my original language but I'm learning from you so much things 😊 and about the video: i'd love to see what you can do with all of these stuff combined 😍 I think the big plant would be nice next to the love seat in the corner.😊
Just a couple style tips (if you'd like some input). I'd put that picture an inch or two higher above the couch, and even out the measurements between the pieces, because they are definitely uneven. I think with the pic being that close to the couch, you're closing the area in a bit when it could look more open. The pottery Barn stuff seems too close together. Like, if you were to move the plant and small table away from the chair a bit. It just looks cramped when you have more room in that corner to move stuff apart. I liked the Wayfair purchase better though. Pottery Barn is way too overpriced for the basic stuff they sell. You could find much cheaper and cuter options at Target or somewhere along those lines.
I agree but I think , and I could be wrong, that she was grouping them in a way that she could fit them in individual camera shots without seeing pieces from the other store so we could get a better feel for the amount of pieces you could get. She probably would then rearrange the pieces around the room to be more cohesive in the full space. Just a thought though as that is what I would do for video purposes. I do realize that all of the pieces are showing in the closing shot but for the comparison shots I would want each grouping put together so that each store is showcased separately.
Holly Brooke I understand getting it for a picture, but I think she had more room to either side of "groupings" to move them apart if that's what she wanted to do. As well, if that's how she likes them, and that's how she leaves them, it is her place, not mine. I was just giving some input on what might look better for a long term result.
@@cmbyler Ya, usually with large area rugs, you don't necessarily need to center them in the room, but I agree. The area rug I have, my coffee table is centered on, away from the couch in equal distance on both sides that face the couch, and the couch itself is only partially on the rug. Once again, it makes things look too cramped if you put things so close together, rug included (kinda) if you consider it "closeness"? lol
I buy most of my furniture from wayfair and two things you should keep in mind. 1. NEVER buy glass anything because both glass products I bought came shattered. 2. ALWAYS read reviews because I also bought a coffee table that looked completely different from the pictures posted. Other than that I think wayfair has great deals and products.
Thanks for your comment - I've always been skeptical about buying from them, especially big pieces like bed frames and couches because I've only seen mixed reviews on them and always wondered if the good was just the company.
As someone who actually went to college for interior decorating, you don’t need training to be a professional. It’s all based on whether people like your style, and you have awesome style (: maybe bedrooms next? Wayfair vs overstock?
you don't need a degree for interior decorating but you do for interior design. More places are requiring degrees and there's more a technical element to it and more that goes into it than decorating.
Wayfair for sure won!! I love the pottery barn side but the quality on wayfair for the price I think definitely wins! Although you got a lot for pottery barn prices I feel like you completed the challenge with wayfair
Seriously Mia, you come up with the most interesting, creative content. I can’t believe you only have 1.8million followers, you freaking deserve 15million
I love how low key she is, Mia i love the ways your respect the money unlike others who love to spend the money like luxury brand etc it's okay but the way make it doesn't okay is like the ways how the are respect the money, i know some people born lucky and can spend much thousands dollar in a blink but it's still a lot of money for other people. And Idk if Mia richer than we know but she still respect money the way she does, good job Mia I love you Xoxo
@@fathiadatumarin7295 Its not your english, your english is very good! It's just people tend to use "lowkey" alot when the word they should be using is humble lol
Wayfair all the way !! Do two bedrooms now, one with all affordable and one expensive I’m very curious to see if you could make the affordable look better than the expensive one 🤗
Hi Mia I’m no expert but I think the rug is in the wrong place. I think the 4 legs of the table should be on the rug and just the two front legs of the loveseat. Sorry for my english!! Loved your style, that plant was worth every dollar👌🏻👌🏻
Lol I did the same thing when I wanted to buy furniture from rc willy cuz I feel like kids just go in there to mess around, but I legit wanted to buy stuff
Love this, a lot of great pieces from both places. Looks so chic! I was waiting for a panoramic shot so I could see how to whole room came together though.
I am legit so happy you made this I am on a VERY tight budget for my new apartment. I was kinda uneasy about buying on Wayfair but now that I see the quality is actually there I’m excited.
350 for a plant is ridiculous! You can get several real ones for that money! But seeing how bizarrely expensive that chair is, even on sale it is still pricey - I shouldn't be surprised.
I'm from Belgium and most of the stores I don't know but I just love watching you! You gave me inspiration for my clothes and furniture, thank you! ❤️❤️
I liked the Pottery Barn best. I have a thing for chairs! I guess you could say I’m obsessed with them. I love the tasseled blanket and the plant is really cool. 💜
MIA!! I would love to see one with IKEA! I LOOOVED your moving out series, honestly hoped for more of those kind of videos so seeing this one really made me sooooo happy ❤️❤️❤️
I liked the Wayfair much better because it actually looks to be worth $1000. Just the way all the pieces flow together is beautiful. Loved this! No shade towards Pottery Barn 😂
I like those animal wall art in your background! I have the lion one for my son in his room! I love all the pieces from both stores! I just got done decorating my new home not too long ago but I still like watching videos like these just to get inspiration for future decor add ons / improvements!
I love this concept! I love both decors equally but I think you got more bang for your buck with wayfair. But style wise they are so on par with each other. Great shopping job Mia!
@@silviag3039 Her living room has a more brownish floor and the vent is situated further out from the wall. I think it's a different room but so confused :P
This video is a top favorite, love the home series you have going! You totally should’ve done an ASMR unboxing of all of the stuff though, those crinkles on the chair and taps on boxes would’ve been perfection! Home series and wish videos are my top favorites! You easily became a top favorite of mine when I found ya!
Less is not more here! Wayfair takes it for me. You got more items for the same price and they set up is better! Love this video so much!!! You have the best content! I can always count on Mia to be herself all while bringing us new and exciting content! 💕
