Today's video is definetly not to be taken too seriously! With Forza Horizon 5 now available, I've been getting slammed with messages from people wanting to see what it's like in the Triple 65inch 4K Sim Rig.
Obviously this isn't really the way the game is intended to be played, but in all honesty, with a few small tweaks to the adjustments available to the cabin view, and proper projection corrected triple screen support it could actually be an amazing arcade game to play in your sim rig.
Until then it's still definitely a lot of fun as long as you're aware of it's limitations.

You inspired me to buy a sim rig for myself and it's pretty expensive. It's been 2 months now since i've own it. I live in a small city and there won't be a lot of people into sim racing or even own it especially full motion. one day i think of something i never thought before. I tried to make an advertisement about driving school for women and i did it. When times goes, it's actually very good. Right now i have 11 students and it really helps them irl. It's just me wanting to say thank you for making this happen and inspiring me to do so.. It's almost cover half of my expenses from my teaching.. GG. Sorry for my English.

@@einoware436 yes. At 1st it's for all. But, most my students were women, so i turned it into women only, because it's easier for them to drive. Our road were narrow and small, so it's hard for women to drive real car to practice, so there's a lot of them wanting to test themselves out.

@@MildlySlopedRoofsKill It's North East India. I'm not Indian but i've lived in India for about 20 years now.. Roads are narrow and steep so, mainly women are afraid to drive irl to practice their driving, so, they really love simulator.

You did?! My man, Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you have no idea how much this game means to me... the map is so beautiful I am just in AWE every time I load it up. It's truly a massive work of art, a master piece!!! I buy open world games for their beautiful environments more than anything else and of all the games that exist today, forza horizon 5 and 4 are the most beautiful to me and 3 and 2 still hold up to this day looking amazing. The hot wheels map in FH5 is OUTSTANDING as well! Your talent and artistic ability to make these environments is beyond all others. I own every forza horizon game and only discovered them in 2019, after getting 4 I was so in love with the environment, happy atmosphere, great music, it's such a blessing as a physically disabled person to get to go to such beautiful places. You guys who made this game what it is today truly made my life 100x better. I love you! I'm so excited for the future of Forza Horizon!!!

Forza Horizon was literally never advertised as a racing simulator, but instead it focuses on something more arcady and fun, which is why it's so easy to get into and so enjoyable.

Also it's rife with bugs, I mean RIFE, everyone in my group experiencing issues throughout our time. Definitely does not deserve its current scores, journos are glossing over all the launch issues

I've been pleased to find most events work pretty well with the wheel though it's definately towards the arcade side of things even on simulation setting. Blown away by not just the graphics but how well it runs even when you push those graphics a bit beyond what is reccomended for your system specs.

A few serious sims could learn a lesson or two about optimisation from this one. The other thing I noticed a lot in this is the quality of reflections - particularly in wet conditions. Actually has me wondering whether it's worth the FPS sacrifice of ray tracing when they can get them this good without it anyway.

i'm running this game on a gtx 950 and 8 gigs of ram on 1080p medium (shadows and world geometry on low) and i get a pretty reliable 50-60fps at all times. Kind of nuts, really.

I really enjoy playing this game with my sim rig, the side monitor stretch isn't bad and VR is absolutely amazing. I'm the person that enjoys just driving around checking out different vehicles and messing around with their modifications settings.

@@ethanjohnson8107 I'd first suggest looking at VR headsets, and then eventually when you're ready you should get yourself a VR headset. Just make sure that the headset you choose has a VR function, and that when you use it to play VR, it VRs the VR.

I have only played about an hour so far. Definitely a lot of fun with the rig. So what it’s an arcade. You need that every once in a while to tear up some stuff instead of just running sims where it’s the physics are so real you can’t really just go crazy. 🤣 Loved the video Will.

Great video Will! I put 200+ hours into FH4 in my rig and hopefully once they fix the crashes and weird bugs I'll be able to do another 200+ in this game. Just hope they allow correct FOV and triple projection in later titles.

The slower cars work allot better for wheels (B class is perfect). Also I removed all those notification and names over cars etc., to make it allow more immersive. Great video as usual....

I've tuned the NSX and the RX7 to 380hp and weight reduction and they're at A750, both are a joy to drive. S1 rear wheel drive cars like the Lexus LFA or the Carrera GT you begin to feel how handicapped they are compared to say, a R-35 GT-R or the Lambos.

Imagine living in world where : • Euro Truck Simulator a 2008 game supports every brand of wheel natively including simucube and triple screen. • But a 41 billion dollars company making a game that cost 100 of millions of dollars to develop in 2021 can't support triple screen or any dd wheel. FH5 actually has fanatec's DD1, DD2 and CSL DD on their officially supported wheels list, but apparently people on fanatec wheels are having problems with game crashes and even people on thrustmaster and logitech wheels are having problems, myself included. I don't think proper triple screen support will be added anytime soon because it still would be for a relatively minor part of the player base

Seat adjustment may not be a thing, but you can adjust the FOV degree for every view. Increase the cockpit w/o wheel view and I'm sure it could be set fairly close to what is needed! It's what I have done on my single screen rig and it works very well.

@@NVidiero Not really. 4K performance is a good indicator of VR performance. Most headsets are not 4K. If MS would just enable 4K like they did with MSFS 2020 it would be awesome.

This arcade game is the second most viewed video on this channel, it really mean something. I'm faster with a gamepad controller but still enjoyed Forza Horizon 5 much more with a steering wheel. I love racing game since the original Accolade's Test Drive (1988) on PC, I don't care if it's more arcade, simcade or whatever, I just think that all racing games should have steering wheel support nowadays.

All I know is that I've put in 30 hours in 3 days with Forza Horizon 5. Once I figured out how to keep my Fanatec CSW 2.5 from crashing the game, it's been an absolute blast. Great video as always Will.

So those who want to play sim and arcade should have a modular setup, so you can bring the screens and seat back and forth, and maybe even turn off the side screens in some cases. Still nice to have the option, even if it is to have some fun with friends who don't SIM.

Developers should give a option for Arms and steering wheels disable it looks better when using a wheel, its nice to be able to use the left hand mirror and rear mirror but the annoying Ai hands is a no no.

Yeah, the FFB in this game out of the box is abysmal. I tinkered around with the advanced settings in the FH5 menu that allow you to adjust parameters for the wheel, and really helped increase the feel of the FFB in this game. Once I got my wheel and FFB setting set up, this game actually feels pretty good, and it quite a bit of fun. lol Would really like a triple screen setup like this! Very nice!

If they would just let us turn off player character arms I have a feeling a lot of people would prefer that option.

It's such a fun game and so well done! People can't forget that the purpose of this game is FUN! Lots of cars, fun driving and lots of adrenaline and nothing too much to worry about! We can't compare this to Sim Racing games, this is for everyone to enjoy on their sofa and I love it! Looks AMAZING, now imagine if they push Forza Motorsport even more to the Sim side of things looking this good - that's what I'd like to see!

How hard is it for all of you saying he is stupid for paying 100 grand to JUST play Forza to go through all of his videos ?.They are CLEARLY showing he is a pro sim racing channel. He got that setup to play real proper simulation racing games. All of the Forza fans complain many SIM racing players shit on sim cade games and never give them a chance . Then when one channel gives Forza its due some of you miss the damn point all together. He said a number times he isn't reviewing it. For once a pro sim racer actually gives positive props and calls it like it really is and every one seems to miss that point. As a ex sim race guy I get tired of sim elitist sticking their nose up to anything else out side of sim racing games. I have always had a open mind and compare Apple's to Apple's . I respect the pros who have good enough character to admit that Forza isn't half bad . So stop making stupid comments like , he paid 100 grand just to play Forza. He is showing us that Forza is decent enough that even on a pro rig like his that reveals flaws Forza doesn't do have bad. Not hard to understand the context of the video if one stops and thinks. '🙄

Great to see! :) I'll have to check out your other video to see how you got the wheel settings to save, I had to do them every single time I started it which got old very soon. The real MVP is how insane this looks on a stock standard Series X and a 4k TV.

Forza actually has a setting thats called "Drift Camera" I believe which will kinda help fix the static "head movement" in the first person view.

I know an U.S Army soldier who I work with who has this same setup in his home. It's a great way to see who has the best driving skills after a few rounds of drinks. Lmao ... remember guys no drinking and driving please 🙏 🙂

I settings you can move the distance dude, I don't know if it will looks better but you can increase the distance for the view without wheel game a little :D

@@blurryyu That's good to know. I don't have the budget to go all out. A good enough wheel and pedals would suffice. I'm much more into arcade racers. But, I'd be more likely to try out sims with wheel and pedals vs a controller.

We should stop stigmatizing "Arcade racing" in the Sim racing community. It's a bit fun that not even you can create a video without spending 5 minutes explaining that it's not "Serious" and "Just for fun", just it to be accepted to start up an Arcade game. Somtimes it's fun just to toss "real world" simulation out the window and just have some laughs and yeah, you proved it! Forza Horizon looks amazing and are fun as heck even in a Sim Rig. :)
