Agreed! This is what my husband and I talk about when we watch his videos. I think it has to do with his ability to regulate his emotions well. I wonder that people get lost in survival and emotions rather than having that bird's eye view that allows them to see the "formulas" of life. Hormozi is brilliant to be able to see and then convey his ideas so well.
This is what Grant Cardone has been pitching for so long. To sell something first the salesperson must be sold completely to the product. Genuine conviction has massive persuasive power.
Wow. This explains why I was such a good sales person before vs now. I thought I was just struggling going from B2C to B2B. This video just changed my life.
Just finished your book, “$100M Offers: How To Make Offers So Good People Feel Stupid Saying No”. Thanks, brother! It’s full of practical, actionable advice and I highly recommend it. I’m going for it after being a high school science teacher and coach for 20 years and your content has been invaluable. Can’t wait for the next book!
I do believe this guy is one of the smartest people on youtube for sure, but I also feel like all he really says is common sense and put it in the correct order that shit should be done. He said "If you wanna sell better...sell things that do what they're suppose to do and then tell people about it"
Haha, amazing. The first two minutes hit home so hard. Made me realise I've probably been really good at sales this whole time. I've been transfering my convictions for good, and in a very logical way, for my friends forever. Thanks for that, this is such a good boost to my confidence that I can achieve my goals.
I'm a Sr. Enablment Manager for a multi-billion dollar company and litterally every time I Onboard new sales reps this is what I preach. Sales is all about emotional transference. If your confident and you believe in the product you are selling their is no stopping you.
Key take away: by Pairing customer success and sales in more frequent team syncs. you can refill the cup of conviction in your sales team so that they can persevere longer and transfer the trust and belief in the product into the prospects mind.
Hey Alex! This is valuable information. I remember Brian Tracy in his world-famous Psychology of Selling audio program saying that selling is simply the "transferring of enthusiasm from a seller to a buyer." The belief & conviction that you refer to is very similar to the way Brian described it many years ago.
Alex, it's like I'm learning again for the first time what all of my most cherished mentors taught me growing up. Hearing it all again from a fresh perspective has really helped unlock things I did with unconscious and conscious competency for so long I almost have forgotten a way of bringing to the forefront of my day to day interactions in my most recent role. I'm going to land that VP of Sales promotion in 12 months with your advice and content. Thank you! Keep up the great work. You're the true definition of the classic British saying 'A Gentleman and a Scholar"
Love this so much and how it goes back to if you’re in sales and believe in your produce or service so much you can think about it serving clients and if you focus on serving them the amazing benefits we have it translates to the clients so much deeper.
my brother I appreciate you so much you are the definition of give a man a fish you feed him a day , show a man how to fish you feed him for life , you are providing value that will serve people forever and change lives, I sincerely hope god blesses you with more blessings
Jordan Belfort always says sales is a transference of "certainty", but that always sounded off to me. A transference of "conviction" definitely sounds way better
Thank You Alex... Such a golden info... Feeling blessed that I can watch videos like these for free... Now it's my time to take what you're sharing into action... Your book the $100 million Offer alone I think will greatly impact my business... Thank You 1000x Alex
Salespeople who don't believe in the product won't be able to transfer conviction, and training won't fix the problem. To increase conviction, have a regular cadence between customer success and sales, and collect testimonials and reviews from satisfied customers. Alex discovered that closing rates were higher on days when the company held graduation ceremonies for clients who had completed their program.
Not here to learn how to sale, but I’m here to use this for my Personal life. I need to learn how to Believe in myself, and teaching my children how to believe in themselves to the core. ♥️♥️♥️♥️ great stuff we can use this in all aspect of life 🙏🏼
AWESOME, or SÅJÄVLABRA as we say in Sweden. Love the video Alex! Just reminded me why I started my SaaS-venture and that it is actually founded from my own end-consumer need. Now I will show it more!
Dude, I need you as my mentor. I’ll work for you for free just to pick your brain! I always get a lot out of these videos, you hit the nail on the head every time. Sales is all conviction and making the consumer believe in it as much as you do. Keep the vids coming and if you need an apprentice (free of charge), let me know! 😅
it makes sense. There is a reason that con men AKA confidence men are able to do what they do. They have confidence and conviction in what they are lying about and selling to people.
Alex, huge fan. Suggested improvement to whoever edits your videos, please stop using the weird sound effect for the pop-up pictures. It's distracting. We're listening to Alex who is plenty stimulating. We don't need additional sounds, especially mildly annoying ones, when we're already engaged
But aren't "clients" of faith easier to convert because usually there is no money that they have to pay? But clients of certain products tend to have a wall of skepticism because they know that their money is on the line..?
Hey alex can you make a video for young adults who are just in the first stage of wanting to change their life for the better physically and mentally and of course making more money besides a mcdonalds job, im a community college student and the path im going down will max make me about 100k a year and i know there is so much more out their in life besides 50 hours in corporate for 100k a year salary.
This same thing happened to me while working at GNC. When I first started working there I believed in the product but once I realized a lot of the products were bogus, my sales and motivation went down the tank.
Hey Alex I have a question… how does someone who genuinely has no interest in their product or their customers do well in sales… and this isn’t a joke, I’m curious how you’d approach something like that
Alex. The camera Turn off auto focus. Your life will be easier hah Gold as usual. Got some new distinctions since the last time you talked about this subject. (PS camera issues don’t take away from the content at all and so doesn’t really matter. But just if it annoys you. It’s an easy fix. :)
