$107 Jeep JK Radio Upgrade to 10 inch touchscreen with CarPlay 

It doesn’t. It sticks out about 2 inches on my 2006. We put the integrated dash one in my wife’s 2017 but that one was around $500

I keep my equalizer on default and in the middle of the little seats picture. When my kids rode in the Jeep a lot I had it in the middle but slightly to the front seats because they didn't like my country music. There are a few pre-programmed settings that worked well, but the default has been the best for me.

The Bluetooth is spotty. It connects automatically to CarPlay about half the time but can take 30 seconds to a minute. Most of the time I touch the app/tiles icon and swipe to the Zconnect app. It usually connects then. It always connects when I plug it into the USB that is plugged into the back of the radio.

It has a robust equalizer but I haven’t really strayed much from stock/factory settings.

I appreciate the response. I was asking about the fade controls, because the last few vehicles I've purchased. I've decided to go with installing an Android head unit compared to installing a more expensive flag ship head unit such as a Pioneer or Kenwood. I normally utilize the fade controls just to test that all speakers are working properly and the wiring on the install is correct. The fade controls on the two previous Android head units did not work at all. I was told by an expert car stereo technician that a lot of these Android head units are cheaply made.

I tried the fade and it works. There is an icon like an app that opens up and it has a little picture of front and rear seats and you can use your finger to drag the dot around and adjust the fade.

I’m not going to lie. I had to get rid of my subwoofer. My car sounds like trash. I’m getting a new upgrade across the car now. Amp everything re done

It hasn’t affected the quality for me but there was already an aftermarket radio. It sounds the same to my ears.
