I have a 2005 f150. I tried to install it but all it says is no signal video camera and that’s it. Doesn’t do anything else. What am I doing wrong?

I bought the same exact unit and have the same exact Jeep. I got everything to work but my back up camera isn’t starting when I go in reverse. It was working fine with my stock radio(same one you took off). How do I set up the camera harness for this unit?
@Flowe_Grading
@Flowe_Grading Год назад
I had issues with hooking up my backup camera as well. Just make sure to wire the red camera 12v wire to the red pig tail on video wire as well as the reverse wire together. Then at back splice power wire for camera to your reverse light power wire then run it to camera and splice the other end of the video cables red pigtail wire with the red power wire for camera

If you have a 2007 jeep wrangler with no steering wheel buttons, what if you bought a steering wheel with buttons? could you connect all of those wires to where it is able to use steering wheel controls?
@ProvoBeastAudio
@ProvoBeastAudio 2 года назад
That question has come up before. From our research, the clock spring can accommodate a new wheel, however, the body control module / can-bus system isn't programmed to accommodate steering wheel controls. Even if you installed one with buttons, you would have to find a shop to flash the system to recognize steering wheel control buttons are present.

I have a jeep wrangler 2010 non amplified, I installed everything correctly as well as installed the brake camera and wired it to the reverse light, everything works perfectly however after about 5 min or so of starting the vehicle the radio begins to start turning off and on continuously at about 5-10 second intervals any idea on what may cause this problem?

I got the same radio and followed all of the installation instructions. However, my 2007 Jeep has a subwoofer which technically makes it an amplified system, right? Anyways, the person that helped me connected the harness the non amplified version. The radio powers up, connects via bluetooth, but does not have actual radio, microphone not working, and jumps automatically to the phone as if it were to dial a number. Bluetooth works well, and the backup camera works great. Any suggestions? Thank you!!! Great video. If we would have followed it to the T….. Thanks again

My radio harness has a blue (power antenna) and a blue/white (amplifier). The jeep in this video and mine as well does not have a power antenna but has the amplified system from the factory. It appears that you hooked up the radio blue to the Crux harness even though there are no power antennas. You left the blue/white open for a future amplifier. Does the blue wire you hooked up turn on the factory amplifier? Or does it not matter because both the blue and blue/white wires are both triggers? Thanks for the informative video!

Reverse trigger wire. If you don't have it, it doesn't need to be connected.

Is there any difference when there is a factory subwoofer as well as the amplifier?
@ProvoBeastAudio

Nope, this model had that same trim level as well. The parts linked in the description work for any trim level jeep.

I only have front speakers. When I change my balance and fade to the front I don’t have any sound when I change balance and fade to rear my front speakers work. I’ve wired color to color. I wired color to color with the amp and plugged in the “ without amp plug”. Do you think I should switch to “amped” on the plug or do you think I should wire it as an amped system white to green/white etc?
@ProvoBeastAudio
@ProvoBeastAudio Год назад
You need to wire the front speaker wire outputs of the radio to the rear speaker inputs of the wiring harness adapter. (radio to harness) White to Green, White / Black to Green / Black, Gray to Purple, Gray / Black to Purple / Black. It explains it more here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-l2HacA5vsiU.htmlfeature=shared&t=233

How do you tell if it’s amped or not?
@ProvoBeastAudio
@ProvoBeastAudio 2 года назад
If you have the non-amplified version, you will have four sets of speaker wire outputs in the factory wiring harness adapter. If you have the amplified version, it is only two. This video will help you out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AB2jiryLmg8.html

Don't know if you're still replying but It seems that mine has a high pitch noise whenever it's on coming through the speakers not affected by speed, any idea what it could be?
@ProvoBeastAudio

Depends on your wiring, and the harness adapter used. Lots of variables there, but sounds like ground loop noise.

I’m having the same problem, nothing affects it. The noise goes away when I turn the radio up, or mute the radio. Also thank you for the video, it helped me a lot. Just installed everything on my 2008 wrangler!
