One of my concerns with chemical sunscreens is that not all of them have photostabilizers, for me that's important because I don't reapply every 2 hours, so when I do use a chemical sunscreen I prefer to use one with photostabilizers that can offer protection for up to 5 hours.
I'm not a cosmetic scientist so I don't know a lot about how different ingredients work together but I always thought that octocrylene was photostable. I also think octocrylene and octisalate help to stabilize/enhance other filters like avobenzone. I understand your concern but I feel like if you are good about reapplying then you should be covered???
@@benenon Ok that's good to know, because I wasn't sure what the photostabilizers were. I just knew that neutrogena, aveeno and laroche posay states it on the bottle. I'm trying to include more chemical sunscreens in my daily use because they are much easier to deal with. Thanks for sharing.
I've been trying both these products! Really like the Holy Hydration as well (also use it at night) Been looking for a spf/moisture combo myself. And it's just like you said. You can feel it on the skin and I'm getting mild breakouts. Didn't even realize it might be from the spf moisturizer until you said you got it too 😅 would love more spf & moisturizer reviews!
You know what the textures are kinda similar. I think the holy hydration might be more glowy. I find the cereve ultra light to be more comfortable on my skin
