Great video comparing the figures, though I think you should note that you can actually get an ankle pivot on the Figure-Rise, there's a peg that slides into the foot and that works as a pivot. I think you undersold the articulation of the Figure-Rise. I think the hip joints and shoulders are actually the best out of all the Agito figures. Also, Figure-Rise is not Gunpla. Gunpla is specifically a Gundam line. The proper name for this kind of product is "model kit". Both Figure-Rise and Gunpla are two different model kit toylines, and are super fun!
To be fair.. Gunpla has basically been a "catch-all" phrase for any snap-on model kits for most casual plamo folks in the west since Gunpla is basically the gateway and most recognised of all the plamo kits. So for casuals saying "Gunpla" is basically the equivalent of saying "plamo" (ie. snap on plastic model kits)
Honestly from what I've seen a lot bootlegs are okay if you don't turn them on. I like those bootleg phone toys that literally use the Faiz phone mold.
Thankyou so much for the support!! My plan is to make some toy photography content from time to time, however I don’t think I’m good enough/ qualified to do a full on tutorial as I have yet a lot to learn. But thankyou for showing interest! Hope you enjoy the videos!
Man, I won't stand for Figure-Rise Standard slander. It's a plamo (plastic model kit) not gunpla (gundam plastic model kit) & it DOES have foot pivot. The very joint that connects to the foot allows the kit to have pivot. You have to fully explore its articulation because its a plamo not an action figure. The Kamen Rider FRS line is a godsend & great alternative to SHF especially in prices. SHF does have premium quality but their prices are bulls**t. Also, Agito is one of the best in Kamen Rider FRS line in term of build quality. Other amazing kits in this line would be Kuuga, Fourze, Black, W & Decade.
Thanks for the info! yea, I realised that I have missed the foot pivot on the FRS, I heard a lot of praise about it and I was really confused when playing with it, no wonder! and you are right, the SHF line is way too expansive especially with the hit or miss quality. The QC on some of them are not too great. I need to look into FRS a bit more in the future for sure! Thanks for watching!
I'm collecting FRS for that exact reason. I refuse to fork out that ridiculous amount of money to complete a 20 heisei riders base form collection. It would suck that when you pay so much for a SKC SHF just to hit a jackpot like the awful tearing of rubber parts on Black and Ultraman Tiga.
I was collecting SHF Kamen Rider, and when I started to collect Figure Rise, I appreciate Figure Rise - It is more realistic and cheaper but quality. Since FRS is a plastic, it is not brittle compare to SHF - which is made of rubber (my SHF Kamen Rider Kabuto's arm (V2) snapped, and I need to carefully fix it using an epoxy. For me, Figure Rise is far better than SHF, not only on the price but Figure Rise is superb.... I am currently waiting for the Figure Rise Standard Kamen Rider Kiva to be available.
Thanks as Riders figure collectors sometimes I wonder if I should settle for Figure Rise rather than Sh figuarts 😆. Your video help with making the choices for sure
Bootleg are in fact a good idea and a good deal if you're not a rich guy. It doesn't matter if whether or not is embarrassing, the only thing that matters is the good quality of the bootleg and the happiness.
Do you reckon? I honestly doubt it will bounce back in price as the quality seems a bit too off comparing with the next releases👀. Thank you for watching!
I've found that V1 versions of SHFs can work, depending on the character. Like, I have a Sakurajima version of Ichigo from the original line, and I actually think he works fantastically as a *manga* version of the character. The lanky proportions actually look very close to Ishinomori's art, and really the only major difference would be that he always drew the original Rider with a very boxy chin.
I went to Hong Kong many years ago and I'm so in love with Hong Kong. I can't wait to go there again and this time, I want to get some Kamen Rider (missed out previously).
What do you think about videos like this one? More of a review type, do you enjoy it? Are you interested in videos like this one? I would like to see your feedback for future improvement! Thankyou!
I honestly think the original shf still holds up, despite being not as good as the more modern ones. Id buy him without a problem. Pretty cheap anyway so why not?
@@YarugumaSouthey were, until they fell short as the 2.0 Shinkocchou Seihou got released. Personally, for simple figures like Agito, 2.0 release is a blessing as they get way more accurate proportions overall. My favorite Rider is Kamen Rider Joker (& W Riders in general), and their 1.0 releases are not that great. But the Dopant figures from W still look great even now.
You really glossed over the figure-rise for some reason when I think thats the best KR figure-Line available now. Sure you substitute some articulation when you pick a model kit over an SHF but they're proportionally the best and require minimal painting to look just as good. I think they're doing a great job on them.
