Before you pass over my comment, hear me out. My name is Luke Taylor, I am 17 years old, live in Washington State, and am in need of a bike. I can't say that I have been with the Hick's fam for a long time, but I really enjoy watching your videos. Your cinematography is amazingly unique and equally fun to watch. I think that I deserve to be given this bike because of a few reasons. Although I am pretty new to the BMX scene, watching your videos has inspired me to look into entering the bike community and getting a bike, however, BMX bikes can be crazy expensive if you want quality. I looked online at some pricing options, and the cheapest complete is still like $200-$300. Honestly, I kinda thought that I wouldn't ever get a chance to get into biking, because once I finally get the kind of money to buy a solid setup, I'll be either too old or have too many responsibilities. Another reason why I think that I should get this bike is because my friends all have bikes, and I would LOVE to ride with them. They have been trying to get me to buy a bike for the longest time and this is EXACTLY the opportunity I needed to ride with them. You would make my entire year if you gave me the opportunity to ride with my squad this summer, and the summer after that, and so on. I know that this comment will be pretty far down the list, I mean, as I'm typing this there are already nearly 2,000 comments, but I really hope that you at least read this. Honestly, I would be shouting you out for WEEKS afterwards. I would for sure make an entire video about the bike if I won, and this would make me unbelievable happy. Hey John. My names Chris I'm 17 and Id would be so grateful if I won the bike. I never thought I would have an opportunity like this. I live with my mom alone and she works two jobs and I know money is somewhat of a problem for us. I asked her a long time ago if she could buy me a BMX bike for my birthday a couple years ago, But when I saw the price of quality BMX's I was a bit sad cuz I know my mom would never allow me to pay that much for a bike. So I went out a got a job through this program at my school (which was about 4 hours a week for the school year) anyway, I saved up for months and ending getting about $500 when I told my mom I was gonna use the money to buy a bike she got pretty mad and disappointed. She said I can't be spending that kind of money on nonsense and said it was selfish. She said I should use the money for the family and help pay for food like an "adult". This is why I'd be sooo happy if I won the bike. I'm telling you, would can't even describe what I'll feel if won. Anyway, I live about 20 min away from Downtown LA so I don't think shipping would be that bad. thank you for the opportunity.

I've been saving up for a BMX for a while now but I'm torn on whether I shud buy a bike or stay saving for university in a couple years. Honestly since I was about 13 bikes had always intrigued me, but being a skateboarder I never wanted to pursue it until I saw john Hicks's videos, after doing so I legit Goya random bike and learned how to bunny hop over 2 center blocks until the back tire busted flat, so I got decently somewhere, bikes are so expensive but in Florida it would be perfect to have one. Hey John, It's Marcel I currently have a mongoose BMX that is going to fall apart the next time I do a bunny hop. I have been getting into the BMX scene for over 2 years now and I finally learned to do a bunny hop. I didn't learn on mine basically there is a lot of pros in my town and I always ask for a quick spin and they taught me to bunny hop. They said I should get a new bike because its a bit challenging for them to do tricks even on my bike. In the past at age of 10 i used to ride bmx and i actually was good with it, but one day i landed a trick so badly, that i slept in hospital for a long time. My bmx was absolutely broke. When i got out of the hospital i prayed my parents to buy me a new bmx, but they didnt wanted me to ride again and i was kinda upset. Since that day until now i was dreaming about it, when i turned 16 i started looking for a job,the price of bmx parts in Latvia is very high, so i am working hard to it. Recently his bike got stolen and he's been having to get around on a skateboard and can't really session with us because he doesn't have a bike to ride.
