Hey Susan. I know a lot of people don' t get how to pronounce some of the Towns or Cities in Washington State. Spokane is (Spo Can) not Spocane. On the West side Puyallup is (Pew al up ) not Pooey loop. Just a heads up!

I live in eastern Wa and have all my life! I miss the days when life was more affordable state parks were free now you have to pay 10 bucks to go on a picnic! Eastern Washington used to be more conservative but when the west coast got so big they started moving our way with their politics! I bought my first house for 12,000. It’s not safe here either Montana state wildlife came in the middle of the night and dropped off 2 grizzly bears right above the cabin my husband’s family used to own! Washington never had grizzly bears but we do now!

We live in western WA. It's beautiful here right now. It's raining and gray from the late fall through early spring. That being said, our present Governor is very liberal.

I was a little surprised by the very first property for sale in Washington state because it was in Walla Walla Washington state which is my hometown and where I live currently. I know the area that was shown very well. The creek that ran past the property runs all the way down through the city of Walla Walla. The reason why the property priced increased over time is because Walla Walla is wine country. There are 150 winery's in the valley which is driving up property values.

Weather varies widely by region, actually even by a few miles.

I almost bought the cabin on mill creek in walla walla,a few yrs back in 2020 l,it was 99k at the time..I live in walla walla, it's a nice quiet area where it's located, but it floods in that area every year..and there is a cliff right behind the cabin and rock have been known to come off and hit the cabins in that small community cove..and a few have hit that cabin as well

Washington state used to be very pleasant to live but not any more. Thanks to our trashy government. New rules and limitations made living here unbearable. We're strongly considering moving to Idaho.

It's a beautiful state Washington but very expensive to live and compared to now California. I've lived here for around 30 years from NorCal.

Eastern wa I live in a 3k off grid beautiful house on 5acres it’s the most beautiful spot In the country

Beautiful properties!Tonasket is not an easy place to live if you aren’t fully self-sufficient. Really cold winters, very hot summers, but oh so beautiful, serene, and remote from city life. About a 5 or so hour drive from Seattle, as you have to cross through a lot of mountains (which are unbelievably gorgeous!) to get there.

I live in La Grande. It’s beautiful here.

Walla Walla is dead center of the state, farm country, gets very hot there but very pretty, close to Pendleton OR which is rodeo country, very little snow fall, ideology is mixed there but people are friendly. Deer Park is rapidly growing but that house is way over priced for the area, a few miles over and that house would be 50k cheaper, must make sure water isn't an issue most of the properties in this area are well fed water. The property on Madison in Spokane is cute, have seen it, and that is a great price for Spokane, be ready to get into a bidding war though, housing is hard to find here and the area is continuing to grow, conservative area for now although CA is invading, most garages are on a back ally typical of these older homes. Watch for foundation issues in Spokane and surrounding areas. Spokane is WA second largest city and is 5 hours from Seattle, a very pretty town and lots to do nearby. All I can say about Seattle is if you like conservatism, stay away. Tonasket is mountainous , climate is very temperate, lots of rain. Beautiful area, quiet and serene. Watch out for bigfoot.
