If you can keep the full-blown cottage below $50K for a while, you will blow up even more as a company. It's a nice layout and great for a single person or even first-time home buyer.
@hai5641 How mu$h did U pay? If I may ask, Do you plan to live in a "community"? I ask due to Curiosity of the IMPACT of the ($10,000 "Sucker Punch" U take on the Chin to have the, opportunity/ability to "Lease a Lot" @ $200-$300 per month (for Life?) How is this a Guarantee?? Are the Dynamic Duo Immortal? Is this in Writing? Legal & Binding? 🤔
@@philluphardagain4925 I won't be living in a community just yet. I only paid for the house 15k and will be storing it in California. I do have a parcel in California city but I need to jump through all the hoops to get permits.
This whole approach of using what would be waste panels from the production of steel doors and using them to make homes is genius. It’s like the ultimate “lemonade from lemons” scenario.
For the first time in my life as a single mother who has endured a very bad divorce you have given me HOPE I can own a home for myself and my kids. God bless y'all for your dedication to making affordable homes when there are so many in need💞💞💞
Best Quality, Integrity, Value & Price of ANY...Tiny Home Manufacturer in the Country, if not the World......Bonnie K.---been watching this company over six years...
One person says one thing another person says another thing the sales department doesn't know what Randy is saying on video & they have no idea what he's talking about. I know because I've spoken with them. Prices are constantly changing. It's ridiculous that people are still waiting on Homes from last year and now they're selling this $15,000 home that's actually going to cost well over 35 if you want it on a lot. I think they need to focus on one project at a time & finish a community & build the homes that have been waiting instead of putting this RJO out there. Now they are going to put production on hold in October to build them and then not knowing when the next group of RJO's are going to be built. Good luck to all of you who put money out.
I am seriously interested in the cottage with an add-a-cottage! Please set one up for us to view! Please🙏 I am having trouble visualizing how I would set up the cottage with the add-a cottage I would one to have the living room & possibly bed & bath while keeping the cottage as is? I think 😅
@michaeltice4281 Previous videos where he talks about it says it adds another cottage, turning into two bedrooms, two baths. I think that's what we all want to see. Obviously, most could visualize an empty shell, but that's not the example we're requesting. We want to see the two bedroom, two bath version.
If I did an add-i-cottage, I would make it may living room, a 2nd bedroom or use as an office or craft room,as needed. Then use the bathroom plumbing for a half bath with a well situated toilet and the sink with a regular, small vanity across from it.
@@SharonUK What about people and prospective customers like myself who appreciate all sides of a situation to help me make a smart decision for myself? I think your censorship is a bad thing. Wealthy people aren't buying these sheds and tiny houses. The best thing that can be done for us middle and low income folks is hearing all sides. That is the core of this country, the United States of America and our Constitution. I've read your comments over the past few videos. It's clear that you are a biased fan of this manufacturer. Please have the morality and conscience to allow people spending their limited savings to understand all aspects and possibilities. Please.🙏
In a few years I'll be inheriting a few acres of land. With the cost of living impossible to live on SSI alone I'd like to buy a few of these tiny homes to rent at a very low price of course so women and men can have a nice place to live while still being able to have some money left to save or treat themselves sometimes. I've been watching Bob Wells at cheap living by showing people how to live in a car, van etc very thankful to him however for many of us with disabilities trying to live in a van could be EXTREMELY difficult having so many appointments to our doctors and children and grandchildren and don't want to be a burden to them. I've learned recently that many people's SSI checks or less than 1300 dollars a month with many even less than that. I'm praying that more people will read this and think about doing something similar. We don't even need these most time's large homes anymore so hopefully people downsize and help others besides it's not going to cost you any money and you'll be happier knowing that your part of the solution. ❤ may God continue to bless you. These 2 have inspired me as well!!
I think its important to stick to the AFFORDABLE homes for now because thats what people need! But you need to have a 3 minute HIGHLIGHT every week showcasing a short film of what others have done with their homes!
I have someone I know that paid 27k for her tiny home in December ,Then was promised delivery in February , then May now October . That is not how I do Business . And you do. Not roll out new product & make promises your not keeping . JS when you have not delivered paid for product. It is being run like a MLM. I told her she should get a full refund due to non delivery as promised or Lawyer up. That is just wrong. If you have supplies to make new designs . Hers should have been built . Crazy .
I wish Randy had the time to teach companies how to run a company. Love the atmosphere. Excellent quality homes, ITH employees love their company and work. ❤
OMG that's my house! I forgot how pretty it is. I have just finished purging the third time so I can come to live in my house finally and even three times is probably not enough! Thank you Randy and Amanda I have been watching you guys for over three years now and love what you are creating for people so they can afford to live a good and prosperous life on limited incomes. Bless you both.😘
The sponge painting can also be done with a wrinkled up paper bag and two colors that are only 1 shade apart in color, and when finished and dry, it looks like leather on the wall.
i sure hope you keep offering that 15k house with the off grid add on's you mentioned for xtra (i think you said total is 20 to 25k) . It is ideal because, although it is small, it is completely off grid as i understand it. Meaning electric goes out and all will still work including a/c which is insanely important to me living in FL right now. I am looking to air bnb in your mountain area to meet and see. Have you guys thought of having a section where you rent those 15k tinies as another part of your business? Which will inspire more people to buy.
I would like to see the inside of the 1st one you showed. It was 2 attached together. I like the cottage but is a little too tiny for my needs. I need to have a place for a table and 4 chairs AND a place to sit and watch TV. As well as a kitchen. But I would like an option for a small oven also. I like to cook. I think the home was 2 incredaboxes connected
Love the new panels, they look smooth, and only a vertical seam every 30-40 inches. Also noticed that pretty light pink/lavender Incred-i-box in the distance. At one angle in the video it looks light pink, and another angle it looks lavender. Lilac. The advantage of the Incred-i-Box and Add-a-Box, is that you can haul each of them without a permit, and they won't be too wide, then when you get them where you want, you can attach them together. Maybe add a third one to be a screened-in porch with a storage area for your washer/dryer set up. This will give you more room for you to live in.
The incred- i cottage would be great with an incred-i hut /shed/outdoor entertainment center/guest quarters, about 1/3 the size of the incred-i-cottage in the same design. I see one on either side of the cottage about 10 ft apart with decks adjoining all three. Nothing inside like a shed.
Where I live in the California desert it’s super cool to see the palm trees 🌴 trimmed. One guy either climbs up or get jacked up and the hand trim them way up over the second story of our community…very cool ❤
The second one they enter is amazing I personally wouldn’t want that many or that huge windows but he designed that house perfect I love the full bathroom sliding door to laundry what a remarkable tiny house great job I only dream of owning one like this someday ty
I currently live in an efficiency with a Murphy double-size bed. As a single, I could easily use a twin size which could fit on a narrow wall. I’m wondering why you don’t offer that option with various collapsible features in a wall attached to the bottom of the bed. It would open up daytime space in the truly teeny tiny homes. Also, if I’m honest, I don’t cook much anymore. All I need for a kitchen is a drawer to pull out a two burner plug-in cooktop, a counter-top oven, a tiny microwave, and enough drawer space for a days worth of dishes and pans plus food storage. You might want to talk to some retired ladies to see what we really use in a day. The less there is, the less there is to clean. Yea! Love everything you do and love TN! 😊💕💕💕
Just a thought. Can you get the bay window bump out without the window and have a Murphy bed built in that bump out in the RJO. I think that would be such a great use of the space.
they come with a fixed width and slide together. Randy has never said they would be without seams. No screws, and no horizontal overlapping patchwork seams like the original panels providing a much cleaner look. There are videos on how the new panels are put together.
Love these tiny home at affordable prices. 🎉 I have 45.5 acres of land that I am seeking to put a few low income rentals. I am in love with the cottage which would fit in perfectly in my state of Maine, wooded property. Question? I would rather have them Not on wheels but on a slab & connected to electric, and water.
As for that one you first walked into with the 2-tonned bathroom wall... I did that with 2 super mastersuite bdrms & a short connecting hall. One in green & gold, (the prosperity craft room) the other in brown & tan (hall) then the 2nd master in light & dark blue, (our tropical/safari paradise room) . With the blue I did the base first then used plastic bags to lightly apply the top coat by hand... But when I got to the other master, I went & got a sea sponge roller. LOL It was a LOT of work. I did it to suprise my husband when he came back from Iraq in '04.
Amanda and Randy, I think what you are doing is Awesome. You both have convinced me to really downsize my home and lifestyle and to begin prepping to live Tiny. After doing some homework on my end I am not able to come up with necessary funds to make the jump at this time but I am praying that when time is right you will still be around and I can join one of your communities. Continue moving forward and keep doing all the wonderful things you are doing. Blessings and Peace 🕊🙏✝️🕊
Did you even see the interior? I’m trying to get as much information as possible but can’t seem to …If there’s interior pics, where do I find them? I also would love to downsize if possible..
@@estherstrategicadvisor749 Yes, I understand they will finance up to $24,000, if I remember correctly, and I am getting closer to my goal. Thank you ☺ Blessings and Peace 🕊🙏✝️🕊
@@katherinebruno616 I have been following this channel for a while now, and Yes I have seen the interior of multiple homes, empty and occupied. Watch their current and prior videos and I am sure you will find your ideal ITH also. Blessings and Peace 🕊🙏✝️🕊
I like the office models. Im more into the modern look and glad you guys dont take chances with your lil boy, i dont with mine either. The office would look better if it had a long overhang around the whole thing. The countertops in that one looks really cool. Its stuff like that and the styling that make them pop like taller windows. Modern and mid century has rules, we are like architectural cult members🤣. Epoxy floors might be cheaper. One rule is, not having just one large window but two minimum, preferably making a corner. Im going to come check those out when i go to Tenn. I live in Myrtle Beach. ❤ Doors with 2 or 3 horizontal windows are cool too and I like the palms, i have a ton in my yard. Looks cool in Tenn.
The cottage looks really nice. As many others have said I'd like to see a cottage with an add-i-cottage attached fully completed and decorated. I'm probably the odd man out here because with all else being equal I have to admit I'm a closet large tiny home admirer. The more square footage a tiny home has the more I like it. If there was a tiny home with 700 sq ft living space then that's the one I would more likely gravitate toward, if it was affordable. Okay I said it. Large tiny home. Is that wrong? 🤭
I enjoy these videos so much. Anybody’s worried about staying in one of the smaller homes I stay in a Casita camper which has 10 feet of room it’s laid out it has a lot of storage tiny bathroom for six months every year to escape Tennessee‘s cold right? And I am happy it is easy to care for I know where everything is it’s very organized and I have time to go do other things. I’m really thinking of purchasing two of these little homes one and Tennessee and maybe one in Florida or one for Yuma Arizona which lately I’ve been going to win the winter. Don’t be afraid folks of a smaller home it is really your choice what you do with it and if you think about tiny campers in RVs and for me especially I can be very happy and those that I know I could be happy in a smaller home as well. And believe me after replacing the air conditioner system having my decks redone getting ready to sell here in Tennessee the amount of care I have to give on 5 acres is a lot and at my age of 64 I’m getting weary of it. I am so looking forward to living in Buffalo Creek and possibly putting something small in another spot for the cold weather so don’t be scared to live in a smaller abode there are wonderful things about it. Sorry if I was wordy I was just thinking about this all day today.
They didn’t say no seams but there wouldn’t be fasteners and screw heads showing. There will always be a seam where the joining panels meet. The new panels interlock so they don’t need to be screwed together.
They do not have all the screws that held the old panels together. Made to slip together & fit “seamlessly.” Much smoother finish & even more tightly insulated.
Not a fan of the cottage look…reminds me of the houses growing back into nature in Alabama and the floor plan makes no sense to me at all. I wish I could buy right now but alas patience is a virtue some say haha.
By the time you move it, and find the land, it will end up costing more than most regular houses ($100,000). THe best choice it to buy an RV which has most of the creature comforts (and find a year round camping area). MUCH CHEAPER!
I would like to see a cottage with the side door of the 10 x 20 that was done for The Grove. I really loved that openness. A front porch and two windows.
can you please tell us in your next video exactly what you need solar-wise to run the mini-split, winter or summer please? you said it quickly but not sure that will be sufficient. what is the cost of just the solar you need to run it? how many batts? how many panels? size inverter? thank you.
Please leave that barn door off that cottage there is no need for it. I love that house with the bay window!! I need a place to put it so I can live in it though.
Newport TN my Grandparents once lived there and we use to come there for the Holidays, my Grandparents and Mom/Father are Buried there most of the Family is....
I too like the texture walls particularly for the ceiling. It would be a good contrast when the walls are smooth textured. Overall, I like the the texture walls being completely done with the Incred-I-cottage and the Incred-I-box.
Considering there is no other places out there helping people find homes at 15 grand, you be you. That's a service to people that might otherwise end up homeless. I hope you keep thosae entry level home as cheap as you can.
