Good Video Bandit, Yep always refill the refeer and truck, transflow paper work and then whip into reserve spot to blow the shitty wood pieces out the back of refeer. Dribble some vanilla on the edge of refeer wall while. close the doors and flip the refeer switch on to precool refeer and take off to next load. Cheers and take care

I had 3 different Thermo King APUs on 3 different trucks over 13-15 years and had very little trouble with them. I replaced 1 fuel pump and 1 alternator bracket. I may have had to idle my truck 3-4 nights in those years. I had it serviced, when it was supposed to be, at 3 places usually or worked on, Ocala, FL., Birmingham, AL., and Nashville, TN.
I’ve had few older models of TK and they were ok but these new ones are not all that good. 3 of my friends have them and they don’t use them anymore. They’ve just given up on fixing them.
My late husband & had a Freightliner cab over in 1983 had an alternator go out in Oregon ended up having to replace it 8 times in a row they kept going out they were all junk what a pain that was in a weeks time ⏲️

I could tell you a story about one incident I had with an APU unit when I was driving for Navajo. They sent me to Thermoking in Grand Island, NE and I will never go there again and I don't recommend them to anyone else. They rolled the seal on both of oil filters and by the time I was almost to Ogallala, NE. I had to pull into the TA there and they fixed it and they added more oil to it. I had oil sprayed all over the front of the trailer and all over under neath of the trailer. I pulled into a Bluebeacon and washed both the truck and the outside of the trailer. I stayed the night at the terminal in Denver and I ended up at the receiver a day early. My dispatcher got a nice bonus and I got switched to a jackass dispatcher. I was stuck away from getting home for four weeks. I would ask him to send me by the house and with him it was always either we'll see or next week. I took a load back to the yard and switched out with another driver, then I paid my plane ticket to get me back home. You take care brother and if you ever get back to the Americold storage there further south in Georgia. It's been a long time and I forget the town, but they had this really beautiful security guard there and I ran out of hours and she told me where to park at there. Take care my brother stay safe out there on the road.
And that is why I always do my own oil change. I just don’t trust these shops to do it right for me. There used to be a good shop there in Kingdom city Missouri, I trusted with my oil change, but unfortunately they shut down last year. ever since then I’ve been changing my own oil. I am sorry that jackass dispatcher didn’t want to send you home. You did by quitting. Nobody should ever work for places like that.
Hey just thinking--- have you ever tried waxing your windshield ? I used to use regular liquid wax like you'd use on your paint. Turtle wax in the green bottle was what I liked. Just put it on, let it dry like you would on your paint, then buff it off with a soft cloth. Rain will bead up in tiny little beads and blow right off the windshield. No wiper use at all. Works great.
I have never tried it, but I know they sell some kind of product where you would just spray it on your windshield or on your mirrors and it would do the same thing that you just mentioned. I’ve been wanting to try it out forever, but I just keep forgetting to buy it whenever I go to Walmart.
I've seen that before good job the other thing I learned about was using dish soap on the sliders instead of grease it works great & if you keep it up no rust too

Get R done, hell yea, that pick um up driver that could have merged left must have been watching something on his phone, or day dreaming & suddenly realized, oh shizzel there is that Big Blue Glider in that lane and I don't want to get in front of him and spoil the view of the great Bandit. They definitely aren’t using that much water in these showers. Some of these showers are so nasty, they ain’t worth anything. Pickup driver looked like someone who could not read English. Both hands on his steering wheel, looking straight ahead. He definitely couldn’t read.

In my day buddy, we use to pay the lumpers directly and it was about 50.00 for the load, no extras for this or that. We paid them and then sat back and let them unload.
I picked up a load it cost $500 scaled it was over weight had to go back had to wait till next day before they could redo the load cost another $500 for them to reload the trailer plus the time wasted what was double crap

Going pretty good buddy. Relaxing at home, waiting for DOT blitz to pass next week before I head out again. I like reefer because money is better but I hate it that it’s appointment only for pickups and deliveries. I miss dry van because I could just show up and be unloaded pretty much any time.

All I knew was that, that route was the quickest way to my pick up so that I wouldn’t be late and I just went for it. Either I wasn’t paying attention and I didn’t see any signs for no through trucks or maybe they are not there anymore. Anytime buddy. I like them hanging here better than behind the truck or on the trailer floor.
Nothing pays good anymore, unfortunately. Market is really bad right now, but I have a feeling it’s about to change pretty soon.. change for the better.

There's plenty of available commercial property that can be purchased and created into homeless apartments not shelters, shelters are unfair to the homeless and studio apartments are more mentally and emotionally secure for the homeless and the first 2 floors can provide in house care like mental assistance and case workers and the like. All in on centralized location. Especially for our homeless veterans. Sh*t rolls down hill in government, with #FJB or Tombstone Joe in office he really destroyed America and keeps doing it via "Bidenomics".
They really need to do something about it. But it’s very hard to do anything about homelessness problem whenever our stupid ass government is sending our money overseas.

It’s literally 2 miles away from that US Foods place you dropped off at… it’s just another cramped old building in Atlanta with 20 other companies… even the yard trucks struggle getting into the docks - especially E dock that has no room for pull-ups unless you wanna drop down a 100’ embankment lol… Forget what all the business on the front side of the building are but they ain’t friendly either…
Definitely not worth all the money. If you can find one that is pre-EGR I would definitely get that one. These new ones have all that electronic bullshit and you get nothing but problems with them.
I just love how "trucks stops" rape us drivers on everything from. $3 coffee to damn near $20 to take a shower. By the way... an old Detroit would sound so much better in those tunnels!!!
Truckstops are ripping us off big time because they know that we have no other choice then to use truckstops. We can’t just pull off anywhere and go grocery shopping. 1 gallon of oil is $10 more at truckstop than it is at Walmart.
I’ve done something very similar a few times. But luckily now I fuel it pilot and flying J and I always have a shower. And I always have an extra shower to give drivers when they need it.
Well, luckily, I don’t have to pay for it anymore. I get a free shower now every time I fill up. I’m glad I was there to give that guy free shower instead of him paying $17 for it.

@@tnine3I’ve seen some trailers with 2 50 gallon tanks and some of them have single 100 gallon tank. If I was to go bigger, I would do single 100 gallon tank. I did put new steer tires on that will allow me to have 13,000 on my steer instead of 12,000

Big companies, hire unloading service companies, so they don’t have to pay for all the benefits that they would have to pay if they were their employees.
I understand what your saying I've had that with a few companies I've driven for but a lot have accounts with Love Travel Center or they have let me choose were I fuel cause I get my own discounts for loyalty
