The cost is too much. Most towns are struggling moneywise. The cost to hire a fleet of truckers and someone to operate the blower would be crazy

Exactly .. Yorker here, average plow driver 35 to 45$ an hour. Average plow driver with own vehicle $100. Tractor operator $50 an hour. Tractor owner / operator $150 an hour. Semi hauler is per load i believe, making $150 a trip. Those trucks can do up to 13 trips a day. Now multiply that by the amount of people you'll need ... Towns would raise the taxes by a huge percentage. That's why they just stick to V plows and straight blade. Pretty cool if they could do this tho.

hi, I used sony rx100 vii camera on AUTO in this video..it's really good camera and also very small..I did not use microphone on it in this video so the sound in the video is not really good. Now I bought rode wireless go .

I also used Gopro 7 in this video.

that's very interesting ! In Montreal, only the small snow removal car for sidewalks is with chain like a tank. I am sure all the tire of tractors are different in Canada , is made specially for driving on snow! Some small truck here is with studded tire.All the car need winter tire in winter here. Yes. In Montreal, you can do rust-proofing treatment for car in garage.

And usually new car is already with several years rust proof ing treatment. In winter, we should wash car several times to clean the salt.

hi, my friend, you will get used to the snow here. My experience is : 1.don't park your car at the entrance of garage driveway . usually there are lots of snow at the entrance there. 2.use a good snow shovel to clear the snow around the tires 3.use salt to melt the ice 4.use traction mat or floor mat to gain traction 5.get some guy to help hope these help .

The defroster is your friend. Don't waste your time with an ice scraper. And learn to rock your car if you get stuck..

hi, Rob thanks for watching ! In the video, the snow blower is Larue r36. I did not find some information about it on internet. Larue is a company in Quebec City, quebec, canada. Schulte is a company in Englefeld, Saskatchewan, canada. I will release a new snow removal video later, and in that video they use Larue d65 which I can get information. Yes, all the street will be cleaned after snow storm in Montreal. They removed snow on the one side street first and then another side. The day before removing snow operation, a lots of NO parking signs will be put in the snow pile on one side of street. Montrealer can download a free app(info-neige) and get real time snow removal operation, and free parking during snow removal. About 8000 cars are towed during 4 days snow removal operation. Before they towed car on the street, towing car will make special and very loud sound to warn people . Every street in Montreal is really cleaned after 4 days(24 hours) snow removal operation ! @@tammyowens7776 they have from 12 to 24 hrs pre-advise telling them to move. If they don’t, then the towing gets active. But not before acting up a siren to let you know, giving you and extra 5 min to save the ticket

@@tammyowens7776 like I explained, you have a good day to prepare (and it’s the same every storm, so you know the drill, so it’s more then that in reality). A good Montrealer always has a shovel in his car. You go and find a spot somewhere else, sometimes far from you need to be, but that is the « dance ». The city also has agreements with underused parking lots (like a supermarket at night) that become designated storm parking places during the cleanup time. Believe me, we make it work. Yeah, it’s a bit of an hassle and some folks do get caught by the towing people. But, within 4 days, we have no traces of the storm anymore.
