I only just found your channel, and its obvious that you're new to RU-vid. I work in social media management, and think you've done well for someone who has only just started. But I don't think you'll grow as much as you can if you're not a bit more open to criticism. People will develop a better connection with you, and will be more inclined to support if they feel you are listening to your subscribers and care enough about their opinions to take them into account. Obviously you don't need to give into trolls, bc the more you succeed the more haters you will get. Its better to just say something like "As we are still new to RU-vid, we are still very inexperienced and appreciate everyone's suggestions. Hopefully the more we grow, the more we improve." Otherwise not say anything at all.

I was just thinking the same thing -- a sheer overlay -- maybe in black or red to make it funkier or an over-the-top detail like a bustle ... and I'd buy some super expensive trim to cover the empire waist gold thing. Just think of everything below the bust as a built in slip ... for $18 it's a good starting point for what could be a great outfit!

There are actually beautiful wedding dresses to be found at the Salvation Army and Good Will for less than that. The original price was probably around two hundred dollars, but this is much more realistic than paying 8,000. People think they have to go broke over a wedding dress and diamond ring, but these were not traditions with our great-grandparents. People use to make their own wedding dresses, and often just had a simple gold wedding bands. This might seem boring by today's standards, but at least people did not go broke to get married.

I paid $11 for my wedding dress at a vintage store and it was classy and not at all see through. I actually wore a bright red bra underneath. The fabric was pretty thick

Imho females who need sexy & tons of bling have taste only in their mouths. Weddings shouldn't be the time to show everything you have, a person has every other day to show their bods, they need to keep it classy.

I've worn (and still do) my fair share of lowcut tops, short dresses, backless, etc but on my wedding day I chose pure class. Guess what? My dress is still relevant today because it wasn't trendy (30 yrs ago). I loaned it out (yet again) to another bride just last year. You have no idea what I meant in my 1st comment which is kind of sad.

I dont think she was really too upset. But since I'm a sewer I would try maybe some pearls, sequins. She's right. The fabric is too thin and if that's how many things need changed you might as well go to a bridal salon or order online only if its made by a famous designer. I dont think thats a good idea. When you get any type of clothing made in the orient their measurements are based off the size of their own people. So if it says XXL it would probably fit a size 6 or 8 maybe not even that.

I think in person, it would be super obvious how cheap the fabric is. The skirt is a really terrible cheap fabric, and the seams are slapdash. It's not bad looking, but quality matters, and it's a terribly made dress.
