Tom Horseman’s integrity is impeccable. If he said it’s good it’s good. That looks like it will do the job for you. I use real hickory wood chips in a smoke tube for smoking salt.

Very cool I have never seen that Cecarol pellet smoker before I like it. I noticed that the meatloaf slices had a smoke ring on it so it must have been good. Definitely going have to try that putting chips in the smoker tube instead of pellets. Thanks 👍
Yep.....You are the first to mention that there was a small ring. If I had more time I would have kept it at the lower smoke temp. The chips are the trick. Add in a few pellets and pack it all in tight with a stick......you will get a longer smolder time when you add in the pellets...... but the wood chips are the way to go. 👍 Metal On! \🔥/

Hey I think I watched a couple of your videos when I was researching this grill? Aren't You the one who took out that pain in the ass grate in the pellet hopper? I had to keep pushing the pellets down with a screwdriver......and it even ran out of pellets in the auger when I wasn't paying attention. I'm gonna pull that out to be able to just push them down with my hand. I'm not sure if I'm subbed to Ya'.....but I will. Great to see you back doin' something, Brother. Neat looking unit, but there really is not a lot of vertical room on that thing. by the looks of it, it would be challenging to fit a large pork shoulder or a chicken in there without it hitting the lid. Handy little device! Friend bought one of those table top smokers, didn't have a deflector or anything, and he was having some issues with it so he called me. A smoker's a smoker right? LOL
