James is Simply Safe in the lead after this challenge. Only guy to get a v8, jet boat, and had a flawless launched and recovery of his unit.

I’m no boat guy by any means but I’ve been on enough boats to know they’re having an absolute blast out there haha especially since it looks like they pretty much have the place to themselves. I’d imagine the next round will be even better lol they’ll have the kinks worked out by then 🤙

I think the thing that really makes it, at least to me, is the fact that any one of us could equally see ourselves as the 7th person there... How can you not be smooth when you're pushing the boat up the trailer though? Going on the trailer assisted should automatically be worse than the other two that did it themselves.

@@etan125 They didn't load the boat on the trailer correctly. It was too far back. I would be surprised if they didn't notice, and towed it home without first putting it back in the water, and loading it on the right way..... That part was left on the editing room floor, as they used to say.

@@4x4play4 True, but a boat getting towed in is never good at a busy boat ramp. That being said I've definitely seen a lot worse from people with a fully functioning boats. When the ramps are busy it becomes a complete clusterfuck!

i had same results judging only on the in and out of water and it was neck-n-neck-n-neck. if george would have stuck the landing they would be in first. and if alex wouldnt have stalled the vic and cleet trimmed the motor...suprisingly team jackstand had zero issues with the ramp. scoring i give team jackstand 4.5/5, team cleetcleet 3.5/5 and team jorge 3/5. Gotta root for the underdogs! Team wh0re hay FTW!

@@matthewtaylor3308 boat crapping out, or not, they had the best entry, even after the boat tried to catch fire, Jackstand stayed cool and collected, and when reloading, even without a motor and doing it by hand, they acted like pros: just another day at the office. That's what being smooth is all about.

@@54raceman cleet couldn't fix his trailer because he spent all his money I'm pretty sure James still has some left. But I do think cleetus should be allowed to pickup some pieces of scrap metal from around the shop and at least put some reinforcements on the trailer.

@@54raceman Fixing a safety issue like the trailer shouldn't be considered part of cost etc. Safety items need to be fixed plain and simple. not just for his safety but others on the road..

@@xogmaster I doubt the BP engine weights that much more than the engine in his boat. It looks like he's currently running iron heads while that BP one likely has aluminum.

Typically when you install a new engine in a boat it’s so you don’t get stranded and that’s rarely the case with blueprint junk

I was starting to think the commenters had forgotten this was about awarding points because I read a bunch of comments before finding a score. I think you nailed it though, so I am going to give the guys the same score. James, Cleet, George. I do think that Cleet is going to have to allow some rule bending before the next stage, as we need all three boats in the competition to max out the enjoyment factor. Plus there is the guy's safety to consider. If James's toothless starter gear lets him down while he is side on to a big wave when they get to the ocean, then the next video he'll be staring in might be Helicopter Paramedics. Perhaps add a penalty system to the scores. James can fix his flywheel and get the timing sorted out, Cleet can make his trailer halfway roadworthy, and George can collect 5 bonus points. (Which he will lose if anyone gets their shin cut to the bone on his Roman Chariot trailer spikes.)
