@@largemarge8245 You can't have seen the 40 episodes of Poker After Dark and High Stakes Poker back around 2010 to 2012 where he stole the show. Every show. It's the poker equivalent to missing the Beatles or Elvis ehen they were the only game in town and judging them for a top 40's semi flop single they did for charity decades later imo

@@wjrobinson11 I agree, this was great. One improvement, Any time a player In a Big pot is talking, the commentators need to Stop talking- also commentators need to be quiet right After a big hand- if there is any table chatter. It was Great how they often showed the Cumulative win / loss, Most do Not show that often enough. 🙏🏽
Shoutout the production quality of this stream. Perfect balance between player table talk volume and announcer volume. Great camera angles. Coming from Hustler no limit stream replay where you’re risking an eardrum due to loud out of balance announcers this is very nice
Super cool to see Bruno ...I member playing 1/2 and 2/5 at Maryland live with him. Super chill dude. Saw him rise up. Like 2017 I think was playing 1/2. Go get em Bruno. 💪💪🙏🏄
@@matryan3532 😁 actually it was 1/2...MD live used to be 1/2 w a $300 max...changed to 1/3 & $400. I used to play everyday..I remember clearly..I moved up to 2/5 🙏 I used to love MD live. You were allowed to expose your cards if you were heads up. I member ppl used to shove all in on me and I'd interrogate them 🤓 then flip my cards to get a reaction. One of my fav moves. Sniff em out. I quit poker...sucked up my whole life for 3+years
Krissy is cute. But how is she showing 2 feet worth of her chest yet you still don't see any cleavage action? Push them droopers up, you aren't 70 yet.
My takeaways from this stream: Koon and Smith are cool dudes. Dwan was bored. Brewer is scary aggressive. Kristen is better TAG than LAG. Bruno is better LAG than TAG. Tice is good for his age.
@@81i2b49cj for example if it’s 50/50 he would chose bottom part of the “T” as a “clock hand” in the WPT logo and if it’s above 3:00 and 9:00 he will go with one decision rather than another. Kind of like flipping a coin. If it’s 25% he would do between 12:00 to 3:00 etc… there are many ways to do it. It just depends on the player. Most use their watch for odd or even, or where the second hand is like Issac Haxton
Wowww... Tom Durrrr Dwans appearance just give me a chill.. a nostalgic feel... as an ex poker player (when i was young and careless) and now working on totally different path (corporate)... just thinking of going back to this world again definitely signaling me a purpose of life..
My biggest poker session's buy-in was exactly the big blind of this game lol, I can't even imagine how I would feel if I give a $400 big blind and be given 4 of clubs and 8 of diamonds, my life would shatter
Bicknell was playing so well until that K10 vs A8 hand against Landon Tice. If Landon was planning to bluff a missed flush draw, I would imagine he would led out on the river instead of checking. Bicknell's hand looks exactly like what she has, a marginal made hand with her check on the turn for pot control, or she was just giving up after the first barrel. So if his plan was to bluff, I think a big barrel lead out on the river make more sense. When he basically 2x pot size check jam on the river, I really don't see much bluff. Bicknell holding the 10h also block combo draw hands like 10J, 10Q.
Rules for the professional commentators (Ali / Jamie). DO: comment on the hands, strategy, gameplay, players. DO NOT: extend player's chit-chat (nobody cares), start your own chit-chat (nobody cares), talk while the players' comment on their hands or gameplay. Less is more!
When I saw Tom Dwan fold A-7 offsuit UTG... I was like... He's all grown up man. I feel so old, I remember when he couldn't even grow facial hair and couldn't legally go into casinos yet or play WSOP events. 🤣
Well i could understand why she decided to call. The way Landon played the hand had no sense cause if he had a set he would raise at least flop or turn and he just call flop and c turn and c/r river and that line he took means he had a house or missed fd most of the times. He is never going to play AA or Kx that way, not that shove on the river and the line he took. It looked very suspicious and weird he played the hand and probably her read was good but she was not expecting runner runner trips
@@Furthermore23 when you play against a good pro, you shouldn't expect them to play face up. In my opinion it was just a bad call, she convinced herself that he is bluffing, because he was the young gun at the table, fearless and overly aggressive, so he just used his image and he set a great trap for her.
@@mihaucka4087 Landon Tice is capable to do this moves. He made a huge overbet against kings up from Koon. His line looked very polarized and Kristen had one of the best K she could have cause she was blocking straight with the ten. Probably the call was bad, but the call is very understandable for the reasons i exposed before. If he had A7 of hearts all the box comments would be all the opposite.... how good is she. You guys are so result oriented. Its not about one session is all about all about this poker players careers
@@Furthermore23 I think that busted ❤️ would be a very bad river bluff. In a vacuum, this was a bad call imho. But who am I to judge. I'm sure that someone with more poker knowledge, solver and a RU-vid channel, will brake down this hand soon enough
@@captainbontekoe6752 For sure. That was a 50k all in call on a 200/400 blinds. Thats more than 100bb to call that river, of course is a bad call. I would not call that for sure. But i can understand the read behind that call and the reasons why she decided to call
After watchingTom Dwan betting and raising 6 figures in those high stakes games a hundred years ago, seeing him in this game is like he's joined Archie Karas and Jamie Gold in playing in the little fish ponds..
I was wondering why he was playing at these stakes. I haven't follow Tom for years but he's either doing this for fun or he has lost a lot in the past 10 years.
This is done exceptionally well done. The occasional full table shot might give more of the sense of the room, but I don't even know if that's the case. Just the only constructive criticism I can even think of.
So awkward and uncomfortable watching Landon Tice try So hard to be social and be "in" the group but no one will laugh at anything he says or acknowledge anything he says. Every time he tried to engage or says something you can see it on his face "swing and a miss" every time hes ignored. He so badly wants to be liked and accepted and these players ESPECIALLY Tom Dwan just will not engage. Probably thinking Thaaaanks South Park
I don’t think it has anything to do with Landon, but rather the age dynamic in this particular group. You would experience the same thing in a typical job environment . The old heads usually ignore or pay little mind to the newer and younger workers in their respective field. More often than not, a response to intimidation. These are all world class players but they are all aware of the caliber player that Landon is.
@@justinhart7172 Not really, she played fine but got very unlucky in 2 big hands, when Landon hit runner-runner trips, and her AK ran into Jason's AA on an AKxxx board.
Kristen lost so much and she still smiling and is so friendly. Is only 1 girl player on the table. The boys should be much better Gentleman’s and should put together 50% of her losses and return hehehehe. I think she will appreciate. Should be more nice girls on this table.
2:19:00 The Olympian cardboard bed thing is misconstrued. There are videos of athletes jumping up a down on the beds rigorously without any issue . . . they were made from cardboard to be quickly setup and taken away, not to keep them from banging 😂
Dwan is unironically the mark at this table. It's obviously a really tough lineup, everyone else seems to have worked with solvers, but Dwan clearly isn't up to date with modern strategy.
Thought 'ole Durr would buy in for a nice house worth of chips playing 200-400. I guess he's used to 4000-8000. Tried to get some sun before the t.v. time. "Just to get a base"- Mac, from Sunny. Dumpster baby?
