I think that the Coleman that STILL HAS ICE after 24 hours for 20.00 is a winner. I never knew that Colemans were that good.

Fill the large cooler with a bit of ice, then fill the smaller cooler with alot of ice, and put the smaller cooler into the bigger one so the ice lasts even longer, this is a great trick I use when I go camping for like 4-5 days

coleman lids are usually hollow. drill a couple 1/4" holes in the lid and fill with non expanding spray foam.

Maybe you should've compared the weight, because weight is a pretty important factor for coolers. Though the big cooler looks heavier offcourse.

Nothing magical about a Yeti cooler, it's just basic science. The thicker the insulation, the better it insulates. The Yeti has twice the insulation as the Coleman so naturally it will do a better job. It doesn't have $180 of extra insulation though. Coleman should double their insulation and sell it for ~$40. Take that, Yeti.

Still doesn't make yeti's worth it really though. You save what? 2 dollars every 2 days. Average American gets 16-20 days off. Assuming you use this cooler maybe twice that for other weekend getaways at maybe 40 days a year you would use this, then it may be worth it after 2 years. But thats only if you buy your own ice. Use your own ice from home? No cost there :) But my other main concern are that Yeti's weigh a lot.
