What better place to start than the beautify Indian Gate, a little hard to look at it in peace, but none the less a place you still need to stop when in Delhi.
As I was walking to my hotel, I found this little alley that had some Chai, but not any Chai, this was put into a tandoori cup! I met some nice local vloggers and local people all enjoying some food and drinks. I will put the link of the channel below.
After a drink, I was starving so I decided to get some food. I knew this Chaat place was pretty famous so I thought I'd give it a try. The owner was super friendly and we were all joking around. This is probably one of those times when it's a good thing I didn't speak the local language because I didn't realize my mom and sister were getting told to "F Off". I don't really understand why anyone would do that to someone they just met, but hey no hard feelings. The Aloo Tikki and Falooda Kulfi were both pretty good and I was really satisfied.
Finally, I arrived at the Taj Mahal Hotel, now when I was researching where to stay in Delhi, it seemed like one thing everybody agreed on in the comments and reviews was the service of this place is top notch. And they really are. I haven't seen of felt service like this is a long time and I think Taj Mahal Hotel may be one of the best in India.
Once getting to my room, they even offered to change the room if I wanted, but I didn't want to be a bother and was happy with the double bed because it doesn't really make a difference in the long run.
After exploring the room and a quick rest, I headed up to the tea time. With various little cakes and snacks you could definitely eat your fill here. Again, the service here is what shined with both the workers really going above and beyond.
A quick run up to the room and change and I came back for Cocktail hour. Strong drinks and a few big plates later, I was feeling like I was ready to call it a day, but instead I had to head to my multi course meal at Varq!!! Shout out to Rahul for the drinks and all the food!!!
